If anyone is wondering, the very last jam that appears at the 3:01:11 mark is They Love Each Other jam by Jerry Garcia Band. The album it appears on is: All Good Things Redux: Jerry Garcia Studio Sessions. 🙏😎🙏
I'm sure it did, but it no longer exists as the producer is constantly shifting songs within the set. Almost to the point of every time you listen it's a different concert...like a Dead Show.
I had a bunch of original albums in 95 my mom found them for me along with a magnivox turntable with two speakers This dude had a lot of cool albums rush skynard zeppelin but he had blues for allah the double album with the skeleton rose crown sticker still in the cover and American beauty
I am happy that I was part of it. Experienced the wall of sound, Legion of Mary, Old & in the Way, Pigpen, Donna, and what I always believed was the true core of their music. They spent the 60's developing the sound, and by about 74 it was dialed in. Beyond that it was just derivatives of the essence.
Love the transition to the studio version. I imagine you didn't have the end, but you did a great job! I can't wait to listen to it again. It is one of the best recordings I have ever heard!
I love this!! I play the music on my Bose PC clear crisp... then put this psychedelic beautiful art on my big screen TV. Bitchin!! Thanks for the video. 🙏🌹❤️⚡️💐✌️🌈
Epic mix. I am certian I recognize some of this from my own archives. I've been collecting live recordings of this band since 89 (and I was late to the party having seen my first show summer 90). I wish there were timestamps.

Same here. Summer 90 biffalo. Started collecting tapes in 88. Lost all my tapes sometie between moving and went digital. This mix is epic and I want to make my own.
I'm the same era as you. First show the Forum L.A. February 89, I think. 2nd and 3rd shows were Dominguez Hills, CA. I missed some of the official releases. Most notably, Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions. Does anybody have that one?
This is really amazing stuff , wish the sources were posted. Especially the jam around 1:30 , i guess its late ‘72 that’s my guess , thanks so much for the hard work you put into this
that saint of circumstance was very rough "what the FUCK are you gonna do now?!" Bobby was pleading through the music with jerry to stop using. ugh. so sad.
@@carriedunn950 Hey now, Carrie...thank you for your reply! I' ve had the Grayfolded cd's, both "Transitive Axis" and "Mirror Ashes" since their 1994 release date. Still, being as they're comprised of many versions of Dark Star which have been overlapped, this provides no definitive answer to our question of which Dark Star leads the TH-cam production you and I are discussing.
Can't identify a particular date, but I would want to say sometime from late '70 to summer '71, given lack of keyboardist. (TC drops out in early '70 -- Pigpen plays organ less and less on the jams -- Godchaux not on board until later '71) but the Gang of Four really have their act together as a foursome, so I'd want to say spring or summer '71. BTW, looking through this thread -- I didn't see the date named -- would love to know it if anyone does -- maybe the good people of LSD TV would be so kind as to share!
@@barrybasile4601 It's like 5 dark stars. A lot of time I make the videos while under the influence and specifically don't label them. Interesting tracks and I believe Jerry was sharing some of his jazz styles as well. Background reminds me of the cycling fractals with Fractint program.

This isn't psychedelic it's folk hippy music, without the visuals it wouldn't be even considered psychedelic.I cant say I like them, but I get the appeal with them and Phish I guess
its definitely psychedelic imo. when ur tripping it accompanies the headspace so perfectly. made by people on acid for people on acid (kinda). what is it that u think constitutes psychedelia in music?
@@udontexist47 I like the earl pic. Not too many people i know are into the dead and the underground rap scene rn (alchemist, boldy, benny, earl, west side gunn)
Dude no. This is music for the dosed by the dosed . They were on stage on a head full of acid pushing the boundaries of music . Lsd wouldn't have stayed so popular without the grateful dead, lsd could have gone extinct.
I mean no disrespect, I swear.... it's just a proven fact, if you are so fortunate and someday truly 'hear' them, no matter how many times you have heard them before, you will ask in amazement: "What is this?!" Reply
Your uploads are tasty shows. Well done and many thanks!! ✌🏻
This is awesome music. Love how the bass sounds. It's a greats album....

Happy Birthday Jerry!! Lovely video, thanks!
if I had a portal... it would go to any show 67-71.
Some astonishing jazz lines midway through by Jerry. All the band members can be playing something entirely different, but put together, it all works.

What are the shows as they do not match up with what is shown in the description? One is definitely from Winterland '74 (DS -> Spanish Jam)

Man remember PlayStation 1 you could play a cd and do all the visuals with the controller
Good times
I remember bringing Dead cds to my friend's place and we'd drop acid in his basement and pop those in and "see the music".
