Long live the Grateful Dead the best jam band to ever exist
And sounding better, all around, than some of the last Grateful Dead shows I got to see with Jerry. Especially in 95'. We knew something wasn't going well, but were still "lost" when Jerry left us. Never imagined him ever stopping. Not even a thought!
I'm a real picky S.O.B., and I've been blown away by the incredible deepness in their playing, enthusiastic journeys through what's structured, and sounding like someone has been holding them back for a few years.
Billy didn't Tour over "Musical Differences" (he's healthy and well!). Maybe he was more into playing more traditionally, and this held the band back musically more..?!
I've always loved Billy and his playing. His style will always be part of the bands sound.
Jay has really, really surprised me with his drumming. Even making Mickey smile more than ever. All members seem very happy, lately, and finding this incredible peak, at this time, makes me think it's crazy not to continue what only this band can do..?!

I'm so happy that nugsnet has left us with this great documentation of this iteration of the jug band. It's been great. And BTW, I now have great respect for John Mayer's guitar playing thanks to this long tradition.

I was there. Up in the stands for nights 1&2 and on the field just about dead center and half way back for this show. I still haven’t recovered.

first time ive really listend to both john mayer and the dead, great guitar playing and the overall music is transendental , felt like i was tripping , id say 90 % of the crowd was buzzing of there rocker, brilliant wish i was there.....

hehehe, last dead tribute band I was at, (late 1990's) we were toked up hard and I said light up cigarettes as cover! we did and the security guards went nuts trying to catch us(didn't happen).

Unbelievable failure on both business and tech levels. Unbelievably terrible. I wanted to pay for the show and your website and mobile app were down and still are 2/3s way into the show. And you couldn't just let the Freeview continue. Way to damage your brand.
