50:15 Andy: "You just alarmed that man." Me: "I mean, wouldn't _you_ be alarmed if you opened the door to a privy and saw a man in a clown costume just standing there?"
The fact that the first showdown resulted in Mike instantly seeing a target that was not only doing one of the tells, but had all of the traits and he marked them as “not a suspect”, then proceeded to blow up a suspect that wasn’t displaying a single one of the tells was a very… interesting strategy 😂
I always love your Hitman videos. In fact, I discovered your channel years ago because of Hitman. It would be really sweet if you would make this a regular series, where everyone of you builds up their safe house.. or if you want, it's only Mike because this Freelancer mode really suits his style 😉
Whereas I discovered Hitman due to the channel and it's now my all time favourite game, which at my advancing age is saying something! Love these videos.
I would really love a 'Pass it on' version of Hitman like they do with Sortedfood, where each person at Oxboxtra has ten minutes to play then has to hand over to the next person who doesn't know what they've done. Imagine Andy starting his turn after Mike, where 47 is dressed as a clown surrounded by bodies, and having to salvage the mission 😆
Freelancer is a wild time - I'm starting to get the hang of it but it is definitely a chaotic and interesting way to play. Would love to see more of it - maybe a 3 ways to play sort of thing where each person does one level in the same campaign?
every time i see 47, i think of how he's supposed to be the most generic man that nobody would notice but he turned out to be the most strikingly beautiful man
Haven't played Hitman in a while but this mode brought me back. It's really fun! I usually try to go for Silent Assassin, but here I can go full Mike without hurting my score, lol Would love to see you play more of it
Not sure how (or even if) a 3 Ways To Play would work (three different kills on the same target, three different targets), but I would definitely like to see more than just Mike actually play. Maybe a Let's Play where you're all in the same room passing a controller back and forth taking turns on targets?
You know something's going to be good when the thumbnail openly says it's gonna be FULL MIKE. XD I'm sorry you couldn't get The Bee, but at least you destroyed The Dumper! And got some nice motivational posters out of it. XD
I feel like Jane left the supply drops. "Here's an explosive, here's a fire extinguisher, and I packed a healthy snack in case you get peckish on the flight, 47." :)
Congrats Mike. It took me 3 tries to just get the first showdown done. Unlocking the bathroom was kinda disappointing. Only thing in there was a newspaper unless I missed something.
This looks super fun! I would propose a challenge, the three of you get 2-3 streams each, whoever has the most progress at the end wins! Andy's stealth powers would normally have it in the bag, but perhaps the rising pressure will be his undoing...
ooohh brill idea, especially since the essence of the mode is in the repetition and streaming only the missions means just playing the regular hitman maps again and again (which they've all played multiple times) so they should see who can decorate the safehouse the most and stuff
"Let us know if you'd like to see more of us playing...." Gonna be honest with you, chances are, whatever you finish that sentence with, the answer is yes.
More freelancer! I find it incredibly difficult, and I was super annoyed that my best run was ruined by an NPC wandering into a room that they never wandered into before and caught me stuffing a body into a locker. It's amazing how much I rely on a silenced pistol, I had no idea up until this campaign mode.
For me the lack of a lockpick is also wrecking me. That and the fact that there seem to be a lot fewer items on the levels than before. Crowbars are missing or just rusty. It's throwing me off.
I desperately want a ridiculously long megastream of this. Maybe three ways to play with each person playing until they die then handing the controller off?
Only in alerted areas or the final mission of a syndicate. On most areas, you'll just lose what you have on you. The beginning is a bit rough since you don't have any items yet, but once you've gained a number of weapons, losing one isn't so bad. (Losing everything in the tool-cases sucks though)
Yeah ngl, I felt so unprepared by just the game's introduction to Freelancer mode that I wanted to wait til I saw Oxbox play before I felt confident to try it lol. I already messed up one of my syndicates by quitting the mission...
@@whatwelearned You only reset after failing on Showdown missions(the ones with suspects) and Alerted Territories. Otherwise, you only lose the items you bring with you, like what cearnicus said.
I also got shot to death in whittleton creek because the target was escaping. I had narrowed down the prime suspect, but they found the random npc I knocked out in the party house upstairs and the lookout alerted the target. So frustrating! I was halfway through the campaign.
Mike thought he'd mastered the toilet, but then he realised they'd installed Japanese ones, which play music and have about 20 buttons that you can't read. PSYCH!
This is the perfect mode for Mike, so please do more of this please Andy and Mike. Need to try this myself, among other things. But, really thank you for showing this off to us, it looks great as an addition to an already great game and franchise as a whole, so good job IO Interactive. Mike's hitman style is 'unique' I would say and strangely good for freelance mode, who would of thought 🤔.
But, I only wanted one person gone. And, was hoping it would look like an accident. Didn't want the entire town massacred! Oh well, at least I know the job WILL get done.
While I always hope for a new Oxventure episode on Friday, this filled the void nicely. Doubly so since I watched it as I was installing Hitman 3 & warming up my VR headset to do some murdering myself, haha! Honestly, I fell down a bit of a rabbit hole & have now watched at least 8 hours of you lunatics playing. Ever so much fun! Thanks for the laughs!!!
You forgot about The Bee running you over with a helicopter after you abandoned your friends? :D (I might be combining 2 videos in my head for that one).
How many times is Mike going to look directly at an object that fulfills the goal and ignore it. First he used Hitman Vision directly on a water cooler right next to the target with the specific goal of water cooler accident. Then much later looks directly at soap with a make target slip objective. All while being completely oblivious to basically everything 😅
Sadly the water canister is a specific object you need for that objective, a standard cooler won’t do it; and soap can’t make a target slip, only a banana (or grapes in Mendoza) can do that.
@@Sletchmancouldn’t wet floors also work? I don’t know about Freelancer but in the Dubai story mission I remember making a guard slip by luring him to walk through a wet floor area (I moved the wet floor sign beforehand).
More freelancer please, this is the perfect mode for Mike's chaotic play style to be rewarded.
excellent stream made me laugh my head off. Mike as "confused hitman" is prime comedy over coffee and cake
Yeah it is so incredible effective to go full Mike for the last target and then book it
50:15 Andy: "You just alarmed that man."
Me: "I mean, wouldn't _you_ be alarmed if you opened the door to a privy and saw a man in a clown costume just standing there?"
stream starts at 0:17!
Keep doing the Lords work @Angel Beat
You're a real blessing to other oxboxtra fans
Andy watching Mike play Hitman will always be one of my favorite things.
Gosh same, it truly is the greatest
The fact that the first showdown resulted in Mike instantly seeing a target that was not only doing one of the tells, but had all of the traits and he marked them as “not a suspect”, then proceeded to blow up a suspect that wasn’t displaying a single one of the tells was a very… interesting strategy 😂
So it all went "A Bit Mike tm"
1:27:35 I love that you can use the "Alan, please add details" note. Nicee
Oxbox + Hitman remains a combination as perfect as clown + rubber duck [explosive], clown + golf ball [explosive], or clown + banana [normal]
only exceeded by clown + banana [explosive]
What about clown + claymore?
What an eccentric client! “I’ll give you 250 bucks to kill the target… but an extra 1,500 if you can make someone slip”
That was great, seems like Mike's ability to improvise really counts in Freelancer. More please!
Every time I watch Mike play Hitman, it's like he's playing it for the first time.
yes more freelancer please! would love to see Jane and Andy have a crack at a campaign too!
9:27 "I'm just doing what I'm told" is not a sentence i thought I would ever hear out of Mike playing a hitman game.
I always love your Hitman videos. In fact, I discovered your channel years ago because of Hitman. It would be really sweet if you would make this a regular series, where everyone of you builds up their safe house.. or if you want, it's only Mike because this Freelancer mode really suits his style 😉

So mad I missed this live, but so glad you played. Hitman and Oxbox go together like chocolate and strawberries, just the best content

24:03 with Andy putting his face in his hands I laughed so hard 😂
At about @25:55 Andy missed the perfect opportunity to say “It’s my last day.”
This was great. It would be great to see all 3 of you guys play this mode.
51:00 i love it when they vamp for time while they wait on a perfectly timed prank
Funny how Mike went from "let's just kill this lady silently" to "I'm going to use the exploding duck" in about 5 seconds. 🤣
A clown throwing explosives through your window is what insurance companies call a 'farce majeure'.
I knew this mode was perfect for Mike's playstyle. That Santa Fortuna escape is the stuff of legend. Explosives for the win!
Having watched Ian go full Mike on Eurogamer earlier this week, it’s nice to see the OG chaos return
every time i see 47, i think of how he's supposed to be the most generic man that nobody would notice but he turned out to be the most strikingly beautiful man

48:18 oh lord that banana placement, Mike.
I'd love to see a series from Andy unlocking all of the safehouse elements on the way to mastery 100. Hitman Humpday maybe...?
Not sure how (or even if) a 3 Ways To Play would work (three different kills on the same target, three different targets), but I would definitely like to see more than just Mike actually play. Maybe a Let's Play where you're all in the same room passing a controller back and forth taking turns on targets?
"It's an exquisite chocolate gun"... a GAT-eaux.
Exquisite Chocolate Gun is a name waiting for a band.
I can imagine how crazy it was for Andy to watch Mike play based on their diametrically opposed play styles 🤣
You know something's going to be good when the thumbnail openly says it's gonna be FULL MIKE. XD I'm sorry you couldn't get The Bee, but at least you destroyed The Dumper! And got some nice motivational posters out of it. XD
Haha loved the accidental pun of "screw this" after throwing the screwdriver
I feel like Jane left the supply drops.
"Here's an explosive, here's a fire extinguisher, and I packed a healthy snack in case you get peckish on the flight, 47." :)
If it was from Jane, I'd think twice about eating the snack...
Congrats Mike. It took me 3 tries to just get the first showdown done. Unlocking the bathroom was kinda disappointing. Only thing in there was a newspaper unless I missed something.
Can we please have more of this!! Whenever the 'assassin nearby' would occur I loved seeing Mike scramble and run!!

My first level it put me behind the school in Marrakesh... I died pretty quickly trying to get out of there with no lock pick and no weapon 😅
"Banana Clown"! Can't stop laughing. Classic Full Mike.
In answer to the question ‘do we want more’ - yes, please!
At my job someone did legit just walked out. I work at a doggie daycare so as you can imagine the stress was immense.
"Let us know if you'd like to see more of us playing...." Gonna be honest with you, chances are, whatever you finish that sentence with, the answer is yes.
Would love more freelancer content! From Andy/Jane too!
Can we just appreciate how agent 47 drives the most generic volvo/mercedes clone imaginable.

That was a fun look at Freelancer mode! Safe to say that Mike did better than Ian Higton. :D
An Ian/Mike stream would be insane.
@@zanite8650 That would be amazing
Ooooh, yes please!!!
@@KrazyKirby07 yes, that’s why I think it’s a great idea. Ian has awesome energy and syncs well with all the OX crew.

Really enjoying Andy robotically croaking _priiiiime suspect_ and _open fire_ , like a glitchy ED209.
1:21:48 target literally gushing about meeting super famous tattoo artist. Mike and Andy: "look for tattoos! "
Loved seeing this, 100% would enjoy seeing more
36:20 That's the Mike 47 we love to see!
I also got shot to death in whittleton creek because the target was escaping. I had narrowed down the prime suspect, but they found the random npc I knocked out in the party house upstairs and the lookout alerted the target. So frustrating! I was halfway through the campaign.
Would love to see more freelancer !!! Need more mike playing but would also love to see some Jane and Andy freelance mode
More of this please, it's very fun watching
Good to know people in England are just as bad at seeing your local historical sites, as we are in the States.
Actually he couldn’t drive directly to Columbia from the continental US due to the Darién Gap
that was a great stream, very well done by Mike would love to see another
YES! More, please! First syndicate down, we must see who is number 2.
Andy, Mendoza has skiing resorts. It's the Andes, it snows all around.😊
Always down to watch y'all play hitman!
First mission : Who are you and what have you done with Mike?
Second mission : Ahhhhh here he is!
"green tea" 😂 that's a margarita 🍸
Weapons free. Go loud Mike!
So many Mikespikes in this.
Literally "it's my first day"
You guys have helped me to decide to buy the game, thx
I've been having a lot of fun with Freelancer, and even with more tools at your disposal as you go on it's still challenging.
Yay a hitman stream. Oh Mike's playing... well this is going to be lovely chaos.
Might need a 3 ways to play freelance series
Mike thought he'd mastered the toilet, but then he realised they'd installed Japanese ones, which play music and have about 20 buttons that you can't read. PSYCH!

Speaking of Futurama if anyone didn't know it's back for a new season this year.
Definitely more Freelancer. It might be a fun pass the controller thing with the whole OxBox team.
Tip: if you want to change customisable safehouse decorations use instinct.
At 24:21 all Mike had to do was press up against the small wall there and then subdue.
Mayhem, Murder, other words that begins with M. :D
First 5 minutes Andy has issues, now Mike becomes Andy?
OxBox!!! You've managed to create obedient clones! Damn you!!! Luke, Ellen... run.

The infamous banana clone strikes when least expected
we need more of this please!
Pirate Mike is kind of a Shanks/Buggy hybrid.
You can't (mis)spell microexplosives without Mike 🧨🧨🧨
Necklace, hat, brown hair, tattoo..oh my god, the target is me!
You forgot about The Bee running you over with a helicopter after you abandoned your friends? :D
(I might be combining 2 videos in my head for that one).
Nobody thinks it's weird that a clown just walks up to them waving a camera in their face. Colombia seems wild.
36:25 Andy, I feel your pain.
Omg, the banana capers are a delight.
One of the first things I thought when playing freelancer... Mike is going to LOVE this.

"Should I just axe him in the head?"
"Who's around you?"
"Dunno, we'll find out!"
More of this please!!
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes more freelancer mode!
