Dave Kafton is a local hero and a FANTASTIC person. A great wealth of knowledge and willing to help.
That's a lovely knuckle, cool registration plate! You get some fantastic bikes in Tod!
I always loved the handlebars on those old bikes .
I've seen alot of these videos, this bike just screams at me. This bike is magical.
I love that knucklehead ❤
Who fuk'n died? A fresh motor rebuild and straight to storage seems like a good way to deep six a sickle, Todd.
My great grandfather rode one of these when he was a cop in Toronto. I have a picture of him on it from 1947 haha
Email the photo and I'll post it on instagram
Im thinking Keenan Tatro would give this Dave guy a run for his money....Keenan is a wizard with the older harleys....not talking bad on Dave now, dont take it the wrong way, i certainly don't know Dave and im sure he's as good as you say, but Keenan seems to be on another level from all other harley mechanics ive seen
Tatro is one of the many great motor builders on the west coast. Out of all of them, Kafton is far superior.
Fantastic match on the rear fender..
A real beauty !! If it's for sale why not mention the price ?
this could be a "sleeper"...
I would guess in the 30-40k range.... A video of it starting and running would be good.....
@@planefloat subbed👍

Hello from Hungary!!
Omg I wish I was rich.
I bought 3 of these all were under $800 each year's ago. State inspected too, and roadworthy. Who the F pays big bucks for these junkers today?
s deitchie, kind of a dumb ass question. people not flat ass broke obviously , you ever heard of supply and demand?
@@jeffreyplumber1975 OK. l get it, they have become a status symbol and a museum piece. Sad.
Interesting everytime I hear of a knuckle or one for sale it's always a 47.
'47 was a HUGE year for both Harley and Indian.
@@Klassiccycles I dont doubt it as everytime I hear of a knuckle it's a 47...I just need to find a knuckle in a barn I can restore. These old machines are so easy to rebuild
Who in right mind would even think of buying any bike without hearing bike run? Someone who has money to burn and don’t even ride a Harley-Davidson, lol.
People who understand antiques
Bought my '61 FLH off a good story and a handshake. Rode it yesterday with a little work and fresh fuel. Sometimes you just have to trust the seller.
I think Todd is selling, because He's been dreaming of a twin cam...Lol
It must not be original paint or you would be keeping it.
I no longer collect
$43,000......$1,000 a year for 43 years....lol....I'm a math wizz and exceptional business man.
