      I'm so glad that my videos have been a help! I've found that University level courses might be a little too technical. Don't get me wrong, I obviously love education. But the reason I've created my courses and videos have been to break it all down to a usable level of information.

      This was great, been searching for "vegetable garden soil recipe" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Fonillian Uncomplex Future - (do a google search )?
      It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to add breathtaking landscaping designs to your home minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate got great success with it.

    I have a question,where might you want to use soil that doesn't retain much water?

    • @Proirrigationtraining
      @Proirrigationtraining  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are a lot of plants that need good drainage and will die if planted in clay soil. Take palm trees and other species that live near the coast and are used to sandy soil and constant or frequent rain. Take that plant and move it to a clay based soil, and you're going to have significant problems because clay will hold water for up to 3 or 4 days.

    Plants can grow in clay? And sand?

    • @Proirrigationtraining
      @Proirrigationtraining  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Plants can and do grow in clay, but it's not the best conditions. The same with sand, just the other end of the spectrum. The best soils have a good mixture of organic material and different sized particles.

    This is all new to me I decided to try gardening but I ruin my garden box so I just decided to plant orange 🍊 seeds in the backyard rather than my garden box since it was easier the soil is red tho I'm.assuming it's called clay.

    • @Proirrigationtraining
      @Proirrigationtraining  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, if the soil is red and clumpy, its almost certain that it's all clay.
