    The name of the Deep Conditioner in the Gold Bottle is Joico K-Pak Intense Hydrator...the names of all of the deep conditioners I liked are in the description box.

    You post the most informative videos when it comes to natural hair care. You have helped me out a lot with dealing with extreme dryness in my hair and also providing me with products to use in my deep conditioning treatment. Because of your videos, I now have a hooded hair dryer so that I can start my deep conditioning journey the right way. Thank you so much.

    The macadamia is great, but it does have LOTS of silicone. So shampooing after a fews uses is essential. I use it when flat ironing for heat protection.

    I found that the whole raw shea butter line didn't agree with my hair. I tried that when I first went natural and hated it. I did really like some of the other Shea Moisture deep conditioners. I've seen the Macadamia Oil one and wanted to try it, but didn't want to spend all of that money without knowing whether it would be good. I'm definitely going out to buy it RIGHT NOW! lol. Thanks!

      yea shea moisture has some really good deep conditioners!...it's actually my favorite product to buy from them period. This one just wasn't it lol. But yea i took a lot for me to invest in the Macadamia Oil one too because of the price but it does last a pretty good amount of time

    Kaylyn, I am transitioning have been for a year. I am so glad I found your videos. I was clueless. Except for the deep conditioning my hairdressers is manic about deep conditining so it makes sense to do that for natural hair as well I have always used a hooded dryer when I did my own hair. Which I never did, my hairdresser did it all. So a lot of what you're saying I know it is true as she has done it for my hair (although) it was texturized for years. I love yoru videos and I did subscribe!

    I tried the raw shea butter regular conditioner (not deep conditioner!) and it made my hair feel stiff and crunchy. Didn't like it at all! It kinda turned me off to the whole Shea Moisture brand, but I'm willing to give other lines a try if they're more moisturizing!

    • @KaylynIvy
      @KaylynIvy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      noooo dont completely write off shea moisture cause they really are a good brand in my opinion
      ! that raw shea butter line was just not good at all. and based on my comments it seems like everyone hated that line too. they have so many amazing products that work wonders!

      lorelei it gives you a false sense of silkiness so silicones will coat your hair locking out moisture, and you'll have to clarify your hair to get the build up off.

    Thank you so much for your reviews. Kaylyn Ivy, will you please let us know if you ever find a deep conditioner that performs similarly to the Joico one but that doesn't contain parabens and DMDM Hydantoin (a formaldehyde releaser)? The way DCing has helped your hair has me excited! Thanks so much for sharing!

    yes I would love to see more videos with your favorite deep conditioners also I was wondering do you ever put any oils with your deep conditioners when you go under the hair dryer once I saw your video about going under the dryer when you deep condition I started doing that ,I'm going to put that in my hair care regimen to always do that and see in the next couple of months if it help me thank you for the videos.💜💜💜

      @KaylynIvy  7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I appreciate you showing love! I really do! :)But I was literally JUST about to talk about this in another video lol but yes I ALWAYS apply an oil to my deep conditioners. I use olive oil (because its cheap and in a huge bottle lol) but as you know different oils all have their own special benefits and nutrients that could give your deep conditioner an extra boost

    @Kaylyn Ivy I'm wondering, when do you condition as opposed to deep condition? I deep condition every week now but I'm not sure when I should use regular conditioner.

      KAYLYN IVY giirrll. I deep conditioned last night with Joico and it did leave my hair soft but this morning. Usually my hair always dries when I sleep but my hair is still damp toward the root. I think that’s a good sign..?? Lol

    • @KaylynIvy

    I really love and appreciate your videos. I'm currently transitioning and I am 3 months post relaxer. Of all the products you've suggested, which would you recommend for the competing textures?

    • @KaylynIvy
      @KaylynIvy  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Angela Taylor good luck in your transition!! It won't be easy but please don't give up no matter what because the end it so rewarding! But I'd HIGHLY suggest the shea moisture 10 in 1 renewal hair mask or the shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil deep conditioner (not mentioned in the video) . Those are both SUPER moisturizing and after you rinse them out you can still kinda feel their moisturizing effects on your hair.

    • @angelataylor2883
      @angelataylor2883 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      KAYLYN IVY Thank you very much. I really, really the response. I'll be able to succeed because of people like you. I attempted it once before, but I gave up because I going at it blindly. I wasn't able to find the 10 in 1 at my Sally's, but I was able get Shea Moisture with the Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil. I'll purchase that from Amazon after I use this one up. Thanks again.

    • @KaylynIvy
      @KaylynIvy  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Angela Taylor I love that Manuka Honey one as well lol honestly you CANT go wrong with she moisture deep conditioners ...except the shea butter one that's trash lol
      But yea I failed twice before I succeed because I went in blind the first time and let others negativity put me down and discourage me the second time . Just stay strong and keep the end goal in mind :) in the end it was all totally worth the hassle !

      Warm! And they all do honestly ! But I’d say the pink one is the most moisturizing one of them all and the ONLY one that I’ve NEVER heard a bad review on no matter the hair type . That one seems to work well for everyone
