Investing in yourself is the best if you don't have a lot of funds. Getting an extra few hundred bucks a year on a 2-8% return won't change your life, but learning a new skill or bootstrapping a business can change everything.

    • @rhot2012

@@kennedyfrancis5875 If you are asking how to invest in US stocks or funds as citizen or resident of India there are brokers such as TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab among others available to open a global account. India had its own stock exchange and brokers if you want to invest in Indian stocks. I know that you can invest in foreign stocks in the US through American Depository Receipts and Global Depository Receipts. I have never invested in these and I don't know if there are equivalent investment instruments in India.
Be aware of the restrictions and tax implications of investing in stocks from a different country. Example: I have read that only US citizens or foreigners residing in the US can invest directly with Vanguard USA. You may owe taxes both in the US and in India on dividends from a US company.

Really like your videos. If I had to nitpick at one part - it would be part of your take of investing in individual stocks:
A good investing principle translates through all asset classes. Your take on real estate is great - and it's how stock investing should be viewed as to:
    1. Buying an undervalued (company) that I can get at a good deal on
    2. Buying (a company whose cash flows) I’m expecting will go up in value over the next 10 years
    3. (A company that employs conservative debt measures) Get a low interest, fixed rate, 30 year loan on the property
    4. Renovate and fix up the property so it’ll be worth even more by the time I’m done with it (Companies going through restructuring)
    5. Rent out the property, and the rents should cover all of my expenses plus profit (Companies that are cash flow positive)
    6. Repeat this same process and do it over and over again
As (our) favorite investor always says - the value of anything depends on how much cash it gives you from today until judgement day - discounted back at an appropriate rate. Cash on cash or IRR vs. the alternative returns or rates are another way of looking at this.
Picks such as AMD and Tesla - though great companies - are very difficult to value since the cash flows are so unpredictable. And if you can't value it, you can't wait until it's undervalued to purchase it. Analyzing individual companies are my favorite - similar to you and real estate - I just wouldn't want your principles to be conflicting. If you ever want to chat more on this, let me know! // Love your stuff ~

Thank you so much for delicious walk-through of the emotional scale. I just love, love, love hearing from Abraham in the physical. Thank you so much for opening me up to the understanding of the Laws of the Universe and to the trueness of JOY and LOVE. Blessings and love from me to you!

Graham- Excellent video!! I can especially attest to #4 and #5 (high interest savings accounts and investing in yourself). Both have great ROI with minimal risk all while adding max value. I also go over personal finance/millionaire mindset over on my channel. Just so you know, you're a big part of the motivation that got me to get my channel started. You're the man, Graham!!

Index all the way... and some Mid-Cap to capture the growth.
