I keep hearing from people that Carry On and Wayward Son are still great reads even if you didn't particularly care about those sections of Fangirl, so I think I'm finally going to pick them up! Also your red top at the end of the video is so cute!
Oh wow, I had no idea the Hunger Games prequel was going to be that long. I'm not particularly excited by the cover or the title, but I am really interested to read the book itself.
I actually just got Full Disclosure as one of my books in my October BotM!! I wasn’t super interested in the fanfic part of Fangirl either and also read Carry On way later. Still sort of interested in reading Wayward Son, though. Also the cover is pretty!! And yes, I believe blanching is the correct term. Lol when you pointed the knife at the camera 😂 I’m excited for the new Hunger Games book, even though the cover could be a lot better. Omg, I didn’t know how LONG it’s gonna be!!
What are your thoughts on the cover of the Hunger Games prequel? I saw a lot of negativity on book twitter regarding it (and the title) but I personally like both. But mostly I'm just excited for new thg content. Also, the Quorn brand is amazing! So many good meat alternatives!
I think that it looks a little too much like they are trying to capitalise (lol) on the old covers. like design as moved forward in the last 10 years, would have been nice to have something different and new. but honestly i’m not super hung up on the title and cover, just can’t stop thinking about what’s in it!!
I'm interested in the new THG book, and hearing you talk about it so enthusiastically made me feel pretty excited and nostalgic for the original trilogy. I'm not thrilled by the title though just because so many books are titled A _____ of ______ and ______ and I already get them mixed up, and no matter how many times I read/hear this title I still can't recall it even if you paid me 🤷
Yeah not super original, but I care less about that than what’s inside. I feel like everyone will keep calling it “the hunger games prequel” anyway lol

I skipped the Carry On parts in Fangirl. I was to invested in Cath's personal life, I had to know what was going to happen to her next.
