Strap in. I have theories. I think the one in the box was a different clone. She didn't want current clone to end up like that, so she helped him escape. (Note Military Jeff has shorter hair as box clone is taken away.) Now, Military Jeff is trying to get back to normal life with his wife, but she's depressed about the escaped clone. Then Clone Jeff writes to her, and she writes back, and Military Husband Jeff sees them. He goes off by himself. She shows up, and he confronts her and then cries on her (bonfire scene). Later, we see Clone Jeff come back passing Military Jeff's grave (confirming that this takes place in the future. The dates are 2054 - 2143.) New pictures on the wall. She's old now too. He stats with her until she dies and then burries her too. He doesn't age cause he's a clone. A yellow leaf is a dead leaf. And now all he has is a mind full of memories... ghosts, as he goes on by himself. Those are my thoughts, anyway. Also, JEFF WHAT THE HELL???!!!
it's not the future but the past. The dates are according to the Thai Solar Calendar, which is used in Thailand to this day. 2054 in the Thai Solar Calnder would be 1511 in International Gregorian Calender. So the real Jeff lived to be 89, which means Dana spent her whole life with him (probably loving him cause he was her husband/bf) but also loving the memory of clone Jeff.
At first I also thought that Thai dates were being used, but the science lab and the military guys look too modern.
So now I think the setting is a dystopian sci-fi future.
@@glynnec2008 ooo that makes a lot of sense too. I just assumed it was the past cause of probable Thai dates and the older looking settings of the house, barn and all the horse riding
I knew it was the future in Ghost because we simply don't have that level of cloning technology yet.
My theory lol:
The dead one in the box is a third clone who I like to call 'astronaut Jeff'. My guess is that his trip to space went very wrong and he passed away in the process.
The wife saves clone Jeff because of this. She can't bear to see someone who resembles her husband dead again.
She lives out the majority of the rest of her life with Military Jeff (the real OG Jeff) until he passes away from old age but she always misses clone Jeff who was sweeter so they exchange letters over the years.
When Military Jeff does die, clone Jeff comes back to the house where the wife lives. She is now bed ridden and doesn't have long to live. Clone Jeff stays by her side until she passes away and he burries her along with the ring he made for her.

2. Now she living real jeff from the end of ghost MV. I think she afraid real jeff destroy clone jeff after he came back.

4. She fell not happy. Becuz she miss clone jeff. While living with real jeff.
5. Clone jeff wrote letter to her.
6. She got the letter and wrote back.
7. Real jeff know about letter. And they auarreled.
8. They live together untill real jeff die. But she still alive.
9. Clone jeff not getting olds and came back to her. I think becuz clone jeff know the real jeff not live forever.
its the movie FOE literally, for everyone still wondering they might have copied the whole entire plot I think since the similiarities are uncanny

-The heroine is stuck with Jeff Farm and secretly writes letters to each other.
- Real Jeff accidentally saw that the heroine was secretly in contact with Jeff Farm, so he was hurt, sad, and drunk.
-In front of the fire, while the real Jeff was sitting sad, the heroine walked up to the real Jeff, crying loudly to vent his feelings, and the two came to an understanding and lived together until old age.
-Many years have passed and Jeff Farm has returned. Before reaching home, pass the actual grave of Real Jeff, he died at the age of 89.
- Jeff Farm returns to the house and meets the heroine who is also very old. The heroine still remembers Jeff Farm and still keeps the wooden ring that Jeff Farm made for her.
-In the end, the heroine died. Jeff Farm buried the heroine and left. Ending....
