Just watched his entire instagram live after the music video drop, and he said we can interpret the song however we want.
Also!! Jeff said his next single will be a part 2 of this mv!! And that will be the last mv before the album comes out!!!
okay so what i understood is there's 2 jeffs. the first version who wants to marry her is the clone. basically he is a experiment already and she's pretending with him. so they take him away and do more experiments and shes also a part of helping those ppl. the other jeff is the one who's actually married to her. but while staying with the clone she somewhat feels for him so she helps him run away in the end.

It could also be interpreted that the Jeff in the suit removed a part of himself, i.e. certain parts of his personality, habits, something like innocence and created this new Jeff, who became a test subject which could mean that sometimes we throw away that part of ourselves that we are not supposed to need and that makes us "weak".
Ps: I agree 10000000% that this could be a movie (as well as many of his other MVs).
I think the real Jeff made cloning of him for his wife before he deployed somewhere. While the wife and Clone living together, they also developed feeling and that’s why the clone proposed her. When the real Jeff is back, she switched the ring back to the silver one and they had to take the clone away as well.

I'm not a musician but I'm imagining a violin and cielo version of this song for his concert, of course with him on the piano
I did listen to the song before the MV and even though I don't speak Thai and there were no subs, I made a movie in my head. In my movie, they are from different worlds and there is a forest between them connecting the worlds. It is the only place they can meet and they can't cross over into each other's worlds. This song plays as they meet in the forest, and while dancing, realise that they love each other. Then the both walk away from the forest never to meet again.
How he inspired all of that in me through a language I don't even speak... dunno.

All of Jeff's MVs are connected and take place in the *"Satur-verse"*
I know I am a month late. I completely forgot to come back here after I watched the mv myself.
Basically what I got from the story:
Military Jeff (the REAL Jeff aka the husband of the girl) made a clone of himself to be there for his wife whilst he was off doing military shenanigans.
The wife ends up actually growing feelings for the clone because he smiles and is kind to her unlike the stern military husband Jeff so she takes her ring off.
Clone Jeff makes a new ring because he has military Jeffs memories and gives it to the wife, she then wears it.
They grow closer and closer and the wife falls more in love with the clone when suddenly, the husband comes back with a group of scientists and fellow military officers. The wife knows he is coming back so she switches her ring back to the other one.
Clone Jeff gets injected and taken away for experiments but because the wife has grown strong feelings for him, she sets him free but goes back to her military husband
oh and also, the astronaut clone is in the Yellow Leaf music video in a coffin at the start, hence the rocketship in this music video

jeff goes to work in space Leaving a clone to be his wife's friend. The clone fell in love with her. (sad)
I did not see the rocket ship, the first 8 million times I watched. My original theory was also clone. But since the rocket ship is there, now I am thinking Jeff 1 is an alien and he comes from a planet which is kind of a parallel universe to ours. While Jeff 2 is off leading his soldiers, Jeff 1 appears and girl falls for him. She knows J2 will return, which is why she switches rings before he does, but she still can't bring herself to warn J1. Loyalty? Duty? In the end, she saves J1 because she loves him and can't bear to know he is hurting. J1 rides off on the horse and the rocket launch at the beginning is actually him escaping.
The ghost could be...
From J1's perspective - the fact that she is no longer with him.
From the girl's perspective - the fact that J1 is no longer with her.
From the girl's perspective - the fact that J2 has changed and it's no longer love, so much as obligation that keeps her there.
PS, Jeff loves to have different versions of himself in his songs. We also have it in Fade, where the different Jeff's are from different time periods. And we see it in Dum Dum. Makes me think that Jeff maybe spends a lot of time in his head wondering, "What if, instead of my current life, I..."

The true story is military Jeff marries a woman (Jeff with a silver ring) but he has to go on duty on a space shuttle. The authorities then sent Jeff Clone to live with the woman.(Jeff with a grass ring) The cloned Jeff loves women and considers himself a real lover. Later, when military Jeff returns, the cloned Jeff is taken back. In fact, women know everything and work with a cloning research project. But she also develops feelings of attachment and pity for the cloned Jeff. In the end, she helped him escape.
I was under the impression that Farm Jeff is a clone of her husband and she was left there to observe him. Then the experiment was over and it was time to take him back. But she loves both of him. Those were original Military Jeff's memories of the wedding. When she took off her wedding ring because she was having feelings for the clone, he made her a new ring. The "Ghost" is Farm Jeff's memories of the wedding and such cause they weren't his memories. Could be that the 2 Jeffs and her are ghosts, since, both her and the Jeff in white had their eyes covered (with the veil and with a blindfold respectively) so they both live according to the fabricated image that they themselves or someone else made for them (it could be the Jeff in a suit) so, for me ghosts, has to do with the image that each one has of the other but that is not real and that no matter how hard they look for that image they won't find it because from the beginning it never existed, it was just a fabricated illusion. For me this MV shows manipulation and betrayal, where in the end we are looking to get out of there and leave everything behind. Actually in Thai lyrics mean .. when I started seeking (or when I open my eyes) I hope you won’t be there. Jeff always the best. 👏👏❤
