For your info, Azerbaijan, the land, was part of Persian Empire till 1828. They lost a war, 1826-1828, to Russian Empire and surrendered the land to Russia. A few years after the Russian Revolution, Joseph Stalin made it a country in 1918 and called it Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan celebrated its Republic's 104th Anniversary about two months ago. No Azerbaijan and Turkiye on any historic maps.

Funny fact: Azerbaijani language was used as the official and lingua franca in 'Persia' and South Caucasus respectively throughout ages.
Armenian language has never been the official one of any Empire.
Ancient Armenia was multiethnic, and used Aramaic language as the official one, bring ruled by the Parthian dynasties. I have no clue why the Armenians are proud of it.

For your info, Azerbaijan, the land, was part of Persian Empire till 1828. They lost a war, 1826-1828, to Russian Empire and surrendered the land to Russia. A few years after the Russian Revolution, Joseph Stalin made it a country in 1918 and called it Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan celebrated its Republic's 104th Anniversary about two months ago. No Azerbaijan and Turkiye on any historic maps.

However, nothing can explain what happened in Khojaly in 1992, and the bombing of civilian apartments in Barda and Ganja in 2020.
