I bought bcoz of this video of yours. Sad to say, this cam is a crap. It’s not 4k at all. It’s a scam brand. I wasted my money. Cam resolution is like 720p and speed is so slow, it keeps on buffering
If you're not happy with it I would definitely send it back if it's causing you problems, to put it in 1080 mode I believe you need to choose 1080 on your streaming software, on OBS I was able to choose 4K, now when it comes to webcams they're just webcams, unfortunately if you want really high quality video you generally got to go out and buy a mirrorless camera and a capture card, The elgato FaceCam Mark 2 is a little nicer than this, and the pro version is a lot nicer but they will cost a bit more, it's just a basic webcam When you're spending like 50 or 60 bucks You're definitely going to end up with basic webcam quality,, in the video I made, you can see the overall video quality which is decent for what it is but you can tell it's definitely not real camera quality., but I thought the colors and the exposure in the white balance and everything else was set up pretty well on the camera as it just kind of adjusted to your room without needing too many tweaks so overall the one I got seemed like it was pretty decent for a webcam but again unfortunately webcams are always going to just be webcams for the most part, I never had any buffering issues or anything like that, it's possible that your PC doesn't like the drivers or maybe there's some sort of incompatible program on your PC with the drivers or maybe the webcam needs an update, there is a program you can download to tweak some of the settings, don't know if you can get a firmware update or something maybe I've owned a handful of webcams and generally they're just going to give you a basic quality that will look decent, they have this one's not working out for you I would definitely see in the back, I wish somebody would come out with something really affordable that gives you the quality of a real camera, if that's what you're after unfortunately you probably won't find it in the webcam, you're just going to get nice to decent from a webcam but probably not super good high quality unless you buy one of the more expensive ones and even those aren't quite as good as a real camera
@@dannylightning-audio-reviews Thanks for the info. It's okay. It's my bad. I was trying to save cost. I've risked even if I didn't see much review about this cam. So I ended buying another cam, lol. I'm having Windows 11 system and when I used OBS, there were no options in settings (disabled). Just sharing my experience about this cam. It's useless. Now, I'm thinking how to dispose it. I can't give it away to somebody also coz it's of no use. Such a waste.
On OBS you right click the camera and then you click properties and there's a bunch of drop-down menus, You said the menu to custom and then you choose the 4K 720 1080 setting and then you can change the frames per second and everything else so that's how you get into the settings on OBS. And of course the USB cable needs to be 4K compatible as well so I would definitely use the one that came with cuz that one should be 4K compatible On if the camera will allow you to some lens it breathing compensation for example But yeah right click the camera in the source setting Hit properties and then where it says device default change that to custom and then all the other dropdown menus should work. No if you're having buffering issues or something like that I would probably look and see if they're software allows you to upgrade the firmware or something like that but I also have windows 11 But when you're paying for webcams and that price range I think the best you can hope for is something that makes you look decent, but if it's not working well then I would definitely contact the manufacturer if it's something you're interested in keeping or I guess there's always the return or exchange option But even something like the elgato facecam for around 150 bucks, it'll look better than this but it's still a webcam you know what I mean
