Hi hon, some suggestions, according to the directions, you need to add the diffuser before heating, wait till it comes to temp with green light, then add the tea, let it infuse for 10 minutes with green light. You never want to let your tea boil, it will make it bitter. I use a small funnel to add loose tea leaves. Hugs, Grammy!

How to stop it from reboiling water all the time? When I take it out from the base it stops , but what if I forgot? It keeps reboiling

Also, there are some kind of dots forming on the bottom surface. What are those?

When I unboxed it I washed out thoroughly with soap and water. The bubbles at the bottom are the bubbles formed as it reaches a boil.

I never use it for anything but boiling water, so I was wondering if you can just set it to boiling only without doing anything. Just like the one Costco used to have. Thanks
