Made it yesterday evening, I added a potato for creaminess, it was delicious! Thanks for this great and simple recipe! Greetings from Paris 🥰

And remember to wash the leeks well 😁

Love cauliflower soup. I add a bit of potato and use stock/broth instead of water. Also avoid the nutmeg but grind in a hefty amount of black pepper! Mmm, mmm.
(I agree with an early comment. Gotta thoroughly rinse those chopped leeks! 😳)
*Excellent recipe as usual.* Cauliflower is under-appreciated!

The nutmeg is a great addition. We do chx stock or broth, sometimes veg stock (never beef or fish), add garlic or just onion. I love the versatility of this recipe.

Yummy! I’ve actually never cooked with leeks before. Do you make this often when you travel?

I have but not often while traveling. But considering the limited ingredients and that they can be used for other meals I may start! Leeks are awesome, mild onion like flavor minus the pungency.

😝 snot was a better word than I might've said if it were just me chatting with my girlfriends. 😬

finally today I am cooking this recipy. because I have one potato left and because it was mentioned bellow, I did put it in as well. so I know, that way it will be starchy and I will have to cook it again, to have the comparison without it. but if it tastes great anyway without potato, it is a great option for non starch recipy. just a little bit of butter or oil. that is fine. I am just sorry, that I didn't check, if I have any nutmeg. I could have sworn, I got one weeks ago. - so re-cookking :-)

The nutmeg is pretty necessary but if you don't have any just imagine it in there. 🤣🤣

I wonder how much less salt I would add if I added bacon... 🧐 thanks for sharing this!

I'd totally add bacon (!!!) and leave the salt to the end so you can taste test it.

Is cooking a hobby for you or a profession ?Just curious. 👍✌

Well, it's a hobby I guess. I've never not cooked. But I've also worked in a lot of restaurants and regularly take cooking classes as we travel. In my mind it's more like a genetic thing 😉
