Interesting bro. I was going to buy these but I don't think there's any problem with the 3 piece. I used to rock the 909s for a good year and the SLs slide way better.
I'm going to continue skating them for the time being to try and come back with a decently knowledgeable review later. Hopefully I'll notice some differences
Not at all man, it's just overspray from where I painted my big skate box that I have yet to pressure wash out. 😂 I could definitely see how it could look like it had some kind of purpose though!
Thanks for the explanation. I just got mine and mounted. I had issues too with the bowing out/ not flush fit so I searched to see if that was a known issue. I still have some gaps, and it makes me nervous that the three screws have to hold it on laterally too. I'm a bigger guy and put a LOT of pressure on my soul parts when skating so I'll see how they hold up. I have the Kizer Fluid Vs in and I did not take them off (same thing - don't want to mess with the middle wheels). I was curious if that was the issue, but it seems like not...
Also, my hunch in razors going from the 3 piece to the 1 piece was probably more about material than the 1 piece design itself. I bet they had been designing/thinking about a 1 piece for a very long time, and now that they have a new "Premium" material they figured might as well make the swap if they're producing new sliders? Maybe fewer molds too?? Just speculation.
@@THEBLADINGCODE yeah at the very front and back. They’re not gigantic, but defiantly not flush like the 3 pieces were. I can try again with the frames off. Just tried to throw them on quickly
Yes! My opinion has changed. All because of modern liners. I had a friend growing up who always skated razors and I hated trying his "clunky" feeling gens all the time. BUT, this is because when we were young, liners were thick and puffy, so we always stated size 8-9. Well, with the way intuitions and other companies like reign and myfit liners fit now, I'm able to downsize into a 7 razor sl shell. This has completely changed my perspective of the skate. I now see them as very solid and responsive skates. Having the right size skate can make or break it.
Sick Sk8ing on that p rail though💯🤘
I've already heard you & a few others say this about the new sliders though..😢 HAAARD AS HELL TO MOUNT!
So it wasn't just me 😂

6:25 pvc is the best bro. Great skating.
Thanks man! 6:25 was one of those moments where I just asked myself "did I really just do that?" 🤣
Great skate per usual man, question I noticed you have that box marked out on the pavement? I’m assuming that is to help you with when to jump?

@@THEBLADINGCODE lol haha ok, I was reading to much into that haha

They are definitely tricky to get on right. You have gaps?

@murfrnr I see. Well I'd just make sure that the "clips" meant to hold into the side of the boot are in place. As long as they are you should be good!
Yeah I’m not in a rush to buy these. If it ain’t broke…
They don't seem to wear down as fast skating rough ledges as the old 3 piece kit. But I completely understand!
i watched alot of your other videos, and you said your not really a "razors guy" ....... has your opinion changed on the brand and why?
