- Hey everyone! Its so good to be backkkkk!! In today's video I talk about the importance of letting go of the past and stepping into the future God has for you. Inspired by Luke 17:32-33 - "Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it" - we’ll explore how to get unstuck and live with purpose.
I share a quick story as to why I felt led to share this word: I was doing a crossword puzzle recently and got totally hung up on one word. It made me realize how often we miss the bigger picture by fixating on one thing. I mention Genesis 19:16-17 to see how looking back held Lot’s wife back, and Luke 9:62, where Jesus warns us about divided loyalties.
There are key scriptures like, Philippians 3:13-14 to remind us to forget what’s behind and press on toward what’s ahead. Isaiah 43:18-19 tells us that God is always doing something new, so don’t dwell on the past. Proverbs 4:25-27 encourages us to keep looking forward. I hope this can encourage one of you!
