This was great! And you don’t talk too much. just before you said that maybe you were talking too much, I had been thinking how glad I am that you are talking us through this. Thanks.
This is my favorite video right now, i enjoy listening to Jenny rambling on and watch, while participating every second day for 2 weeks. Doesn't get boring. 😅
I discovered this channel yesterday. I was searching for a way to get my left shoulder back in form after injury. I first sought professional help, but after 3 months of no progress, I ended up doing what I apparently should have done from day 1.. but here we are, and I'm very grateful, I can rotate my arm for the first time in about 6 months. No more vires and funny equipment that didn't do anything. Thank you, young lady, I'm very grateful.
After 2 months, I'm doing this 2 times per week with 10 kg. No more pain, full range of motion restored, and doing this as maintenance for the rest of my life.
Just started this and am getting some relief in my shoulder already. I'm a 70 year old paraplegic who's had shoulder problem for years. So hopefully this is going to provide some relief. Sleeping through the night without pain after weeks pain before I tried this.
It's been a month I'm doing this every couple days or so and I'm FINALLY seeing some relief and movement back ! Thank you !!!! I've gradually increased from 4 to 8kgs and I have no more restrictions in my right shoulder... after years battling on and off with this It feels too good to be true but I'm going to keep incorporating this to my routine religiously!
I'm watching this video and copying the moves and speed without weights to get the movement right. It's even challenging without the weight. Thank you Tom and Jenni x
I did this last night and woke up with much less pain in my neck and bad shoulder! And my shoulders are sitting much better. I need to make this a routine.
I cant give this vid enough thumbs up!! After years of pain and creaks snd weakness and imbalance, this is like hitting a reset button. Once a week is enough, but if i can do a few more it just helps. Thank you Jenni 🙏🏻
I learned a new weightlifting exercise today, thank you Jenni!! I shattered my scapula last September so I've been sort of overdoing it on physical therapy to try and make my shoulders stronger than they ever were 😀 I had fun watching you show it, because you explained it well and you seem like a really naturally good speaker ❣️
Just came back here in the comments section to say that after a month of every other day of doing this I can rotate my shoulder for the first time in as long as I can remember. I also want to really make the point: I haven't so far used any weights or resistance band at all! Just the movements. And since I can't do the shoulder dislocations (yet) I just go forward and backwards with my palms up, not even rotating. So if you are like me and want to always go fast, don't necessarily do that 😁 I went for consistency this time and it worked 🙃 Many thanks to you guys!💫
Thank you Jenni. Great stuff. However, being very ancient, I had to slow down the speed when it came to the Teacup move as I couldn't follow it and looked like I was doing some form of mad psychedelic dance. Got it now. Ha ha.
I'm so glad I found this. My husband has done a lot of Tom's videos with great success. I recently did or redid something to my right shoulder and these exercises are definitely helping me. With the rotations I started with no weight and then 1 and then 2 and now 3. Today after finishing I think I can do 4 lbs. The band exercises are more challenging but I do see some improvement there as well. I think I'll be doing this for life to avoid reinjury.
Wow! This video is pure gold. After a year of pain, this workout has left my shoulders feeling much looser and more mobile. Will be doing this routine frequently. Thank you.
No injury here just preventing some. Appreciate the routine and the double angle. I just discovered you guys' channel and I didn't think I 'd ever hear your voice haha. Great job again Jenni.
Been doing the shoulder rotations that I got from your videos for about 3 weeks now. So far so good. Actually not boring either now but enjoy doing them 😂
I had used this video a year ago when my shoulder was acting up and back again. Jenni you are a wonderful instructor and your manner is lovely. Thank you for these invaluable exercises in a fun atmosphere.❤
Thank you so much Jenni 👏🏻👏🏻 that was so good on my shoulders and you do not talk too much 👍🏻 I prefer to be talked through movements than silence… I have just found this TH-cam channel and can see how much you and Tom are going to help my husband and I 😁 thanks again…
this is working wonders for me after only a week! the band exercises in particular are really burning - that must be the root of the problem! thanks very much.
Jenni, great job. And thanks for the tip regarding lowering your shoulder to reduce the traps involvement. Sometimes I run thru a band routine and my shoulder (right only) pops giving relief.
Thanks Jenny! This is a wonderful video and I really appreciate your follow alongs! I also want to thank you for doing one while recovering…so relatable and appreciated. Gives me hope! I also love that I’m forced to do those extra reps! 😁💪
The hand on the wall shoulder stretch, with the yes / no movements made my entire palm and arm hurt. Thank you for this video. Truly. I now know just how bad my shoulder mobility is and will show the occupational therapist I have been seeing for my wrist. I had a feeling my issues were stemming from my shoulder and not my wrist.
The one thing I genuinely HATE about this channel, is that its only just come in to my life! I love this content, and thank the algorithm for bringing me your shorts. I've needed this so badly, and it's helped me so much. Thank you ♥♥♥
Thanks loads Jenni! Just 2 months from rotator cuff surgery and this helps me slllowwwwly but surely. ❤❤PT has told me not to use biceps as you say as well-....
Wow. This is exactly what I needed. This may be common sense to some people but, it was so nice when you said, "if you have an injured should, it may start fatiguing after 2 reps". I was on my injured shoulder when you said that and it was so nice to hear. None of my coaches said that my injured shoulder would fatigue faster than my non injured shoulder to try to protect itself. Anyway, this was so great and all the talking during the exercises helped. So many helpful bits of knowledge! I'm excited to see how my shoulder feels tomorrow ☺️
Very common to see and definitely something to track, even if you can complete the same amount of reps side to side if one side feels exhausted there’s still work to do 😄
This was great. I obviously have a trap on one side that was doing more than it should. Just like Jenni was saying at the end. This is a great follow along. I feel like I really did some good here!
I have recommended this video to so many people, but never actually done it myself. 🤭 Until now! Great one from Jenni. I need to put this in regular rotation!
Thank you very much, this video helped me a lot since i got adhd my attention isnt well and thanks to you i learnt this valuable movements in my depression injury times. Ps:a talking coach is nice but if you doing excess and if its bothering you i think meditation helps about that. But honestly sincerity you got doesnt make talking annoying.
Another cracking video! This was fun to do and my shoulders and neck feel so much better afterwards. Absolutely love listening to you chatting, Jenni - even if it means extra reps ;P
Thanks! I did shoulder boot camp last year and this selection is exactly what I ‘try’ to do regularly - prob only twice a week before bed. I am guilty of only doing 1 set though and not 2, so this was a great follow along for me. Forgetting the rep number so often made me laugh 😂 I went from using no weight last July to 2kgs now. It’s not much, I know, but after a year out doing nothing at all to help my shoulder, I’m pleased with this progress. This follow along will help motivate me to do more frequently too (and more reps 😂)
This is excellent. Much better than the previous intro shoulder rotation video bec the 2*10 sets create lots of time to check and recheck the complex (read “weird”) movements. The comments about how traps get involved to protect the injury are excellent…knowing why something is happening and what to do about it is always welcome. As well, that traps may be tight for the rest of the day and that they may work against recovery are important points when endurance (here I take it to mean repeatability and consistency over time) is the goal. Perhaps follow with the neck stretching video (yes,no with light weight)? A good series for swimmers and cyclists who are always dealing with shoulder and neck problems.
This is superb, thanks so much for posting it! The level of chat is perfect, as I found I needed to watch myself in the mirror as well as the video so the convo keeps me in time with the motions. For me my right shoulder is the sore one but I'm stronger and more co-ordinated on the right side and my left is a bit less good at following instructions on those shoulder rotations so it balanced out! Wish I'd found this years ago. Thanks again.
That was so helpful thank you. I’ve had issues with my right shoulder and bicep for a while now and this is going to help with strengthening and mobility.
Im left handed and my left shoulder is way worse than my right,, thanks for this,, i work in construction all my life,, i need to do this stuff a lot more often now,im 41,,love all the heavy weights in the gym, but learning niw this stuff is ESSENTIAL
Omg, hi Jenni! I didn't know you could talk! Love all your videos, thanks for the great advice and demonstrations. You have really helped me open up my hips. ❤
I’ve had shoulder pain for a long time now and this was just what I needed. Did it for the first time today and can already feel a difference. You guys are great. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us
This was awesome!!!! My right shoulder is a lot more unstable than my left one and this routine I could tell was helping me, I feel great right away. Thank you!!
Absolutely loved this one! I’m hoping to really increase the weight in it & the resistance of the bands as I’m looking to work on my upper body in a safe & functional way. P.S. those rotations were fast for me… I’m a yin-ster… I revel in moving sloooowww. Once I learn the routine, I’ll be slowing down without the follow along! It feels soo good! I have some knots in my shoulders from holding a very heavy camera… they will soon be toast!!! And as an aside, this is a great amount of talking! It was educational and informative! 🙏🏼
Kinda thought my shoulders were ok....eeek! This is going to make a big difference alongside my SMM. Its small steps forward at this stage.... thanks Jenni great work out and explanation
It’s a really great combo of movements! Very similar to what I did daily to fix my own shoulders at one point 😄 used to have horrendous pain and neck problems too!
i have a torn rotor cuff, I have been following several therapy u tubes. only after 2 weeks of following your instruction. I can truly say I'm feeling and doing much better. I would like to see a post of maybe time line for the different treatments you suggest and the intensity as well amount of weights that should be used. this is my favorite workout great job
Thanks for a great mobility practice. I was definitely flailing doing the teacup thing 😂. You mentioned the difference between your right and left shoulder and I noticed the same thing. I think its because I’m left handed so my right shoulder is always doing the grunt work like holding the grocery bag while I unlock the door or, when the kids were little, holding the child on the right hip to free up the left hand. My right shoulder is always the one that feels creaky and unhappy while the left generally feels smooth and strong. This practice was really helpful.
Yes little habits can all build up over time, always good to have a practice at switching sides for normal tasks, just makes everything take a wee bit longer 😂😂
Nice, i went from Morrison’s demonstration of this movement at 3 lbs to yours at 8! We’ll both be working out with Martian Marine Gunnie Bobbi any day now! Thanks, Jenni!
Big thank you..8 weeks ago gardening felt sharp debilitating pain buried in right scap [muscles]...scans don't show much...seen a few physios but remains undiagnosed...they say a lot of tension is first thing to work on...think might have buried trigger points from history of upper back weakness and undeveloped rotator cuff muscles/nothing really holding right shoulder in place ...I do have full movement but feels pinching/sharp pain behind armpits/ and crunching in right shoulder...did this session - crunchy but no pain and I am least moving again.
Thank you Jenni. I love the way you explain everything, you have a very soothing voice. Would these be ok for someone who doesn't have an injury, but to help correct rounded shoulders?
Thank you Jenni! This routine is now done one day on weekends has totally transformed my right shoulder. I’m currently doing band assistance wide grip pull ups on pull day, but after incorporating this routine I believe I can work my way off these bands. After a good base is set of course. ❤
That was great. I thought I tore my rotator cuff, but with these exercises, although there is a lot of crunching while doing them, I am feeling so much better later!!!!!
This was great! And you don’t talk too much. just before you said that maybe you were talking too much, I had been thinking how glad I am that you are talking us through this. Thanks.
Me too 😂
Haha, my thoughts exactly 😄

So awesome to hear! Sorry to hear about the run around before hand, hear that so often unfortunately!! Onwards and upwards tho!!
UPDATE:
After one month, I'm doing this exercise with 7kg dumbbell pain-free.
Started out with a 250ml bottle of water.
Very grateful 🙏
After 2 months, I'm doing this 2 times per week with 10 kg. No more pain, full range of motion restored, and doing this as maintenance for the rest of my life.
Thank you for your updates. Been using this video off and on to improve my shoulders. This motivates me to be a bit more consistent with it

Great way to get started with it!! There’s never any rush to add weight, always nail the motion first 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Thank you Jenny! Really appreciated all the tips & what muscles I need to be aware of during the routine.

Thanks Jenni, that's really helping my shoulders, i couldn't even get the band over my head when i first started this! More people need to find smm.

Thank you SOOO much ! So nice to hear J speaking . Sending you gratitude and appreciation from Bali !
You are so welcome! Yes this is one of the best follow alongs you can do regularly!
Can I book a pvt session ? To get a personal recovery set ? I have been athletic for 20 yrs the bill has come . Plz let me know . Many thanks !
Can I ask what shoulder boot camp is please? 😊
Thaks so much! It was alot but its what i need! Im a big fan of the channel.
This was class I’m going to keep doing this a couple times a week cheers Jenni
thank you so much. best exercise for my shoulders so far😊
Love to hear it!!
Amazing follow along, thanks Jenny! I can't keep count either but get through sets with the great instructions here ❤
Love it! Thanks so much!
This is awesome, 2 days in and feeling the benefit already, thank you, and keeping yapping away you've got a lovely relaxing voice 👍👍😊

2/3 times per week is great for this one!
Fabulous rehab routine, especially the tea cups!
Thank you!!

10 years of niggle shoulder pain and discomfort....improved by doing 3 of these sessions. Thankyou. Thankyou. Thankyou. ❤

Brilliant. Really appreciate these videos I'm sure glad you make them. It's helping me as I'm sure is others.

Thank you for guiding me to this video.
You are so welcome! Few times per week for a few months and you’ll be shocked at how good things can feel!
Awesome session Jenni !!!

This is just what I needed! I injured myself knitting (😂 yeah, I know) and this addresses the exact part of the shoulder that needs the work!
Keep it light for a good while and hopefully some consistency will help it out 💪🏼💪🏼

Jenni! 💪🏼
Awesome!! Hopefully it keeps getting better the more you do it 😄
thanks, I needed that! :)
You're so welcome! 😄
Excellent content and delivery
Thanks so much!
Thank you Jenni. I love the way you explain everything, you have a very soothing voice. Would these be ok for someone who doesn't have an injury, but to help correct rounded shoulders?
This combined with our “fix your shoulders” video is ideal 💪🏼
Thank you Jenni! This routine is now done one day on weekends has totally transformed my right shoulder. I’m currently doing band assistance wide grip pull ups on pull day, but after incorporating this routine I believe I can work my way off these bands. After a good base is set of course. ❤
Awesome work!!
So excited i found this!
It’s a great one!
Awesome session Jenni, I love your work.
She say thank you!

You're so welcome! 😄😄
I've recently discovered your channel and I'm really happy about it. @@TomMorrison
That was great. I thought I tore my rotator cuff, but with these exercises, although there is a lot of crunching while doing them, I am feeling so much better later!!!!!
Wonderful! 😄😄
