Just had delivered this kit today and so having not built a IDF AFV I need to do some research and came across your videos . You've given me a few ideas re painting and which XF paints to use as I don't want to be spending when I have more or less all of the XF range in my workshop . A brilliant set of videos thank you so much for sharing.
This was a excellent video, I have subscribed also, and all the reading I have done on the Israeli armour, it is one of the hardest colours to replicate, well done.
Nice work! If you want to avoid large specks/spatter when using tamiya XF2 try and thin the paint down 70-30 thinner to paint and build it up slowly. Your mileage may vary, but from my experience XF2 has a very dense pigment and is a little fiddly to airbrush.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost the password. I love any help you can offer me
@Lucca Jesus Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi matey, great job, really fantastic. Us it OK if I share this to my Facebook Groups. I'm doing an idf one . Thank you for sharing your project. Brilliant
Really cool video and so good to have pin washes explained in more detail - when you remove excess is that just a dry brush or did you dip it in something to help remove?
@@TheScaleEngineer you said ‘semi-equal parts’ which doesn’t really make sense (half equal parts). I believe you meant equal parts which would make sense. Regardless, you did a fantastic job with the colour. I have a 1/16 Kal Shot Dalet on a Tamiya centurion hull that I need to paint and I will use your formula. Keep on modelling!
GREAT WORK!! A MASTERPIECE!!
thank you!
Fantastic paint technique. Loved the effect you achieved. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice build and great detail. Great explanations. Gave me some great ideas.
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Great paintjob and attention to detail. Great stuff
Thanks!

That’s is 100% A-ok!

I dipped the brush in mineral spirits, but then removed most of it on a paper towel, so that the brush was just the slightest bit wet
Nice painting work but still it will be better if you put more weathering on the model
always!
There's always one !!!
Did you mean 'equal parts' of Tamiya flat earth, buff, and german grey?
Possibly, its been a minute since I recorded this, I dont know what wording i specifically used for this video

@@brandonkew9122 Yeah I think I meant that it was roughly equal parts, not super specific
Excellent finish !
Thanks!
