I was supremely disappointed with R'lyeh RIsing. I'm glad I got it for the giant Cthulhu but the scenario seemed like an afterthought and the ONLY scenario in the game I didn't enjoy.
I wonder if Zee's overall enjoyment/rating of Death May Die has gone up since his initial review? He initially rated the core game is 7 out of 10, and giving an expansion Mini 8.5 out of 10 seems a little odd. I feel like the rating of the base game should be bumped to an 8 or 8.5 if he's rating these minis higher than the base game
That your initial thoughts can change and that you should never do review that give votes without having at least a hundred of games under your belt to have a realistic feeling of aspects and combinations of a game with so many aspects. This game is good from 1 to 5. Style and strategies change with so many factors that you can rate a FEEL for the game and from YOUR perspective. I enjoy the game at every player count for example.
Hej Zee, would really like to know if you play with the Kickstarter exclusive material from the "Unspeakable Box". If so, how do feel Dagon stacks up compared to this one and Yog-Sothoth?
I do agree, however I can somewhat get behind the "avatar" idea, obviously you're not actually killing great old ones, rather just their avatar, and so I do actually like seeing new interpretations. In one of the comics, it is shown that this is basically a statue that is possessed by shub. What I think is a little petty is them naming the expansion "black goat of the woods". I get that the name shub niggurath is a little on the more racist side of lovecraft, but just not including a name anywhere is strange...
Yeah, I didn't remember his review and watched it after playing the game after multiple times... Fell in love with it! Also, I think it scales well enough at any player count 😅.
I agree with the points here, the Black Goat was REALLY tough compared to the others and stealth is absolutely needed and the mini is badass.
I’m just about to paint this one. Man- I love this game.
Well now you have to do R'lyeh Rising...

Hastur? You don't say!
Underrated comment

For 2022, it was his #3 😲
@@branboom3342 Yea I'd say that his rating is most likely a 9 or 10 at this point, especially if it's in his top 10 of all time.
In the main review Zee said that this game is almost only for 4 platers - what changed? Now he talk about playing mostly solo and duo.

I’m happy Zee’s reviewing these expansions 👍🏾.

Nice little reviews of these add ons!
Hey zee, I was wondering if this elder one has more content than the others? 🤣
Awesome game. And highly recommend black goat
Is it just me who wants an ARKHAM HORROR UNDER DARK WAVES review?
I do too!!
I like that 3:17 moment)))
Shub's looking quite manly.

Somehow my group beat Dagon but couldn't beat this guy. The Black Goat is tough.
I'm curious if your opinion of this game has grown over time. You seemed disappointed in it at first.

You're brave, saying the name of He who shall not be named so many times in your review :p.
I am confused... Zee did not like DMD (original review)...
He gave it a 7/10. That’s far from ‘not liking’.
He's since bumped it up to an 8/10 btw.
