Finished the triathlon there on Sunday and it was terrific. The whole community is behind the triathlon and just a great experience. The hills on the bike are there, but the run course (for me) was the killer. Not a ton of hills, but the ones there are steep and long.
@@EnduranceHour right I know but curious about the reasons. The bike course is “hilly” with extra 2 miles and the run course is very hilly. I get it that the swim is easy but where does the rational come in for a 16.5 hour finish vs 17? Do you know?

Extra long course and must finish faster than 17 hours. 16.5 hour cut off. What’s the rational here?
