With stormy weather like that I bet the people working in the bays are happy for those doors, keeping out both the weather and debris. So maybe I missed an update, but how is the parking garage doing? Seeing it lit up in the night shots makes me think it's finished. Has it helped with parking congestion as much as SpaceX hoped or have more people just shown up to clog up the opened spaces? Not commenting on the rockets I know, but those two things seem like they'd be nice quality of life changes for the people working their asses off down in Boca Chica
I think it’s layers of management and chain of command. Every business, factory, hospital, law enforcement follow almost the same principles. I’m currently majoring in healthcare management, and I too was impressed on how much every single detail to run a hospital must be supervised, but one person doesn’t cover that responsibility, different managers from every department that have supervisors and lead employees under them bring down the focus to minor details.
I like to imagine some site manager in one of those little rented offices chain smoking steadily while on 3 phones. After this many years I imagine a bleeding ulcer and perhaps a facial tick too! :P
I love these weekly updates. This is the only time I enjoy being a spectator. It's the next best thing to being there. SpaceX is advancing at the pace shown in science fiction movies where Earth faces a catastrophe and humanity is rushing to get as many people off planet as possible. 2024 does kinda feel like that. 😲
It involves the extra step of catching the booster. As this update video showed, SpaceX is still working on the catch arms. When those are ready, they may use that test article for more catch simulations. The FAA will be observing all of this, and they need to approve these modifications for the launch license. Elon has said end of August or early September is possible.
I remember the day the first shuttle launched. 1980 I think. I was 9. Obsessed with everything Space related. I'd write to astronauts. I got a signed letter from Guion Bufford PRIOR to the first shuttle flight. Hand written. After what seemed like four hours of delay.... I thought my future would be spaceflight. I still have that letter. I treasure it . I love space travel.
I'm gonna be honest. I don't like the change in tone of your narration now. I originally subscribed because you spoke in a more serious no-nonsense voice, and it felt like I was getting meaningful development updates. Take your videos from just a year ago for example. Now there's too much enthusiasm, where just about every word is accentuated. It sounds like you're trying to big up what's happening and create hype with every tank section moved. I get that you're appealing to the algorithm, but as an audience, I feel the channel is moving away from what a lot of us originally came for. I'm unsubscribing for now. I actually feel embarrassed to be listening to this at work.

Love your weekly updates more than any other out there.
As always very informative 😊 Thank you.
Amazing summary, as always. Thank you!
I finally figured you out! You appear to be emulating the Apollo age short videos 😮

A few days ago, the 2 lowest levels of the parking garage were in full use. So, should be close to all levels being ready.
Good refresher for me! Thanks.
Always so Amazing! 🚀
Great Update as always
great job
How on earth do they manage so many people doing so many different things simultaneously?? It looks like a busy ant farm😮

Now to start recovrering stage 2.
Space News done right, Thank you for the Joe Friday rundown of events.
Just the facts.
Sweet.
Did I miss it, is that a Star Ship tower in the background at Cape Canaveral?
What is the activity that is happening at the LC39A Starship tower? You can see several boom lifts working around the chopsticks in your video.
Thanks for the update and views 🇺🇲🇺🇦
Phenomenal video, again. Thanks!
Did anyone notice the catcharms in the background @16:36. This is Cape Canaveral right? That's something. Didn't even notice that.
So, aliens must be colorblind, like dogs.
Thanks, Lab.
NSF randomly shadow banned me last year, so you're my new favourite starbase update channel. Shut up and take my money!
We're glad to have you! Thanks!
yep me too

Great update but audio level seems to be a bit erratic...
How come we cannot get a fixed target date for launch five?

Well done, I think you're my new favorite SpaceX channel. Is that an AI voice? It's not too bad, a bit irritating but not too bad.
Am I the only one who doesn't care about the small stuff? I took my car out of the garage and then I put it back in the garage... YAWN.
Massive Update!
Really? Getting very mainstream with the clickbait title, nothing out of ordinary really was it.
Massive update video as in there's a lot of updates and it's long. No intention to mislead
