thank you for the talk about social media. I have slowly but surely been working on spending less time on social media, but it is definitely hard at times being in college still. I truly notice a difference though in my overall mental health when I spend less time scrolling and worrying about what others have or are doing. I straight up deleted Tik Tok, which was one of the best decisions i have ever made. Thanks for being like a big sis, I love your videos so much 💕
Your such a breathe of fresh air I swear !!! I look up to you so much!! So easily to be consumed by social media. I think I’m not on my phone alot but to be honest with myself I am. It’s very consuming. Thanks Jess for the tough love. Monday restart. Also I purchased a baby item for my daughter and I put in her room waiting for her daddy to get home to put together. And she looked at me and I was like I know my girly Jessica would build this thing herself. Soooo I built it for her and I was so happy she was happy and just felt so good. You empower woman girl!! ❤

I've had no social media for 2 years. It's the best. It definitely is toxic. I recommend to most friends and family to get off it. It's not worth it. Spending real time with those you love without having your phone out is the best. I found myself thinking oh I need this picture or video for my Facebook or Instagram everytime I was out somewhere....it become SO unhealthy. Now I go places and enjoy my time, and don't even have my phone out! And if I do take a picture, it's for ME.

My husband deleted his Tik tok app in December and I deleted my app in February and it’s been such a breath of fresh air to just not care.

Lmao yasssss I am old school for sure. I can’t stand to listen to anyone else’s energy if I want to it’s TH-cam. I deleted social media 6 years ago and I’m never going back I feel so good and focused on my own life. Only thing that matters. I think sometimes people need to understand it’s not always social media that’s the issue, it’s you. I often see people getting upset and bothered by what others post, then are quick to blame social media. For example, like the tik tok you mentioned about egg’s being bad for you. Why did that bother you so bad? If you don’t agree then you simply don’t agree. Who cares? It’s an app that you close at the end of the day, so why let it affect you that much? That’s how I see it, because it’s really not that serious.
