Right now in the comics, Harley Quinn and Deadshot are the only original member's that remain. The Newest members (besides Black Manta) are Deathstroke and Joker's Daughter.
The current version is pretty close to right. Interpersonal feuds between Jokers Daughter, who badly needs a new name BTW, and Harley Quinn and Deathstroke and Deadshot should be fun to read as they play out.

I mean, they took all these non powered villains and they infiltrate the Justice League and only lose one member, also the Clock King was actually useful because he was the one who planned everything and was so precise with the timing, it was a great episode but its sad that the objective, the armor, was immeaditly stolen and didn't get to be used to fight against the JLA but oh well.

Look, Will Smith is a great Actor, there is no question, he has had some awesome movies where his acting alone saved it. But he is too well known, and as Deadshot it will be hard to distinguish the actor from the character. I think Will would be good as a hero less known but I think he, Will Smith, will out shine the Deadshot character. I just can't see him as a good Floyd Lawton.
+JR Ewing Possibly, but this Harley might have a hatred for the Joker as he's seen as the antagonist. Plus Harley doesn't seem to flirt with anyone in the trailers so this Harley might be independent like her New 52 Comic Series.
Anyone interested in learning more about the Suicide Squad show watch the JLU episode Task Force X. It's the best interpretation of the squad on T.V. Good cast of characters, fun storyline, 70's spy music, and great voice acting. And yes, somebody does die. My favorite JLU episode overall and shows that the Squad could make a great show all on their own.

--Nahh, that guy kan pull off anything. The Anti-Hero, a Fighter, an Everyday Joe, Police Officer, Spy, DarkDrama. Handcock was kool, Ali was great. He's able to adapt & pull each character out; in look & emotionally

Look, Will Smith is a great Actor, there is no question, he has had some awesome movies where his acting alone saved it. But he is too well known, and as Deadshot it will be hard to distinguish the actor from the character. I think Will would be good as a hero less known but I think he, Will Smith, will out shine the Deadshot character. I just can't see him as a good Floyd Lawton.

+JR Ewing Possibly, but this Harley might have a hatred for the Joker as he's seen as the antagonist. Plus Harley doesn't seem to flirt with anyone in the trailers so this Harley might be independent like her New 52 Comic Series.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Suicide Squad show watch the JLU episode Task Force X. It's the best interpretation of the squad on T.V. Good cast of characters, fun storyline, 70's spy music, and great voice acting. And yes, somebody does die. My favorite JLU episode overall and shows that the Squad could make a great show all on their own.
