- Lets get Hi Tech!!! Head up display in the helmet time!
Those tech wizards at Eyelights have come up with an extraordinary piece of kit, that puts you screen at eye level.
From testing, the screen is small and see through with options to increase or decrease the brightness etc.
Its a great piece of kit if you don't like looking down at your handlebars when looking for your sat nav.
the audio / speakers with the kit are fantastic for music as well.
Check the unboxing and easy installation video :)

Eyeride - Motorcycle Helmet HUD
Hello. Very interesting - so how it the thingy powered - battery on outside red flashing gizmo? If so - what is the autonomy - how much time you have?
The battery is what you attach to the outside of your helmet
Few hours of charge.
I’ve found it’s best to carry a power bank if travelling very long distances and routinely boost its charge at stops
Looks a good bit of kit mate, let me know how you get on with it
Gonna use it a bit more come the spring I think
As the helmet I’ve put it on fogs up in cold weather :(
I'm struggling to see the benefits of this device, if it gives you directions why do you still need to see your sat nav ? It plays music and allows you to answer calls but any comm set will do that without need for a remote.
Tbh you’d use it if you didn’t have a comms set
Or a phone mount for your sat nav.
So it replaces the lot.
If you borrowed a bike that didn’t have any connectivity on it or satnav
You would only need the helmet that this was installed on.
Thats my taking of it. That’s how I’d probably use it.
I didn’t put in the video but you don’t actually need the remote
You can just talk to your phones Siri (Apple) and ask for directions and the CarPlay function auto puts it to the eye piece
is it misleading or is it a HUD-meaning, it displays on the helmet visor similar to an automobile HUD displaying on the windshield?
@@joelchambers3087 no displays in the eye piece
hey, a few questins :D How long could you use it with google maps, telephone call and music? after 20min my power is over.... and could you charge your system with a powerbank and use it in the same time? :D
I’ve only tested for short journeys over the winter.
So I’ve not depleted the battery yet.
But if you had a decent power bank and long cable I can’t see why you couldn’t plug it in to charge on the go.
How well does it work if you have trouble focusing up close?
I couldn’t answer that for you as I don’t have experience with close focusing.
Id say it would be a struggle as a guess
So does it show you the map in your eye, or is it turn by turn like the BeeLine thingy is? Can you use any app, could you stream TH-cam to your eyeball?
It’s CarPlay
So a lot like google maps.
You can use it to make phone calls and change audio tracks
There’s no option for Netflix / TH-cam lollll
@@MakaJerycho I quite like the idea of having a speedo display so I could delete a bikes dash entirely
@@MakaJerychoNahh dude focus on the road. We already life dangerous. Dont risk your life
All I want is head up speedo 🙄
That would pretty nice 👌🏻
If you have Google maps or waze open on this they can show speedo
Looks like it will get shoved up my eye socket in a crash...
That made me giggle!!
Tbh it’s quite flexible so I’d image you’d be fine and would be more concerned about the rest of your body in a crash
Tempo de bateria?
Not quite sure on battery life but I think for long day rides I’d take a portable battery and lead and plug it in for a quick recharge when you stop
Hopefully it’ll tell you you’re on the wrong side of the road….sheesh!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Andar de moto com menos um olho😂😂😂😂
You see through the glass 😏
