The Puddlejumper got some very good artificial gravity and inertial dampeners. So they would barely feel the sudden stop as the Jumper would compensate for it
Thanks, I was trying to come up with an idea on how to make one since ofcourse there was only 1 episode before this and then I figured, why not just do a voice-over instead. :P
@@10thdoctor15 Are you sure? Even McKay said that Pegasus was the Ancient home galaxy. You would build a outdated gate system in another galaxy, to get around?
@@raymondamador1487 Think about it, Atlantis left the Milky Way galaxy millions of years ago. In the Atlantis pilot we see they left Aiyana behind, the Ancient woman from the Frozen episode of SG-1 Season 6. Earlier on in SG-1 they found a Milky Way gate in relatively the same location as the Ancient Outpost that Atlantis left from millions of years ago, the same outpost that houses the drone platform. It's easy to get to the conclusion that the Milky Way gates were first and that The Ancients developed the Pegasus gates over the next million years before coming back here 10000 years ago to live out the remainder of their lives and learned to ascend. I could go into this further but then I'd get into spoiler territory and so that's not happening.

Ha ha, btw did you add the MInd Control words ? I've seen SGA a lot (like a lot, stopped counting after 60 integrals) and I don't remember those.@@TonyWasHere
@@jameshenner5831 You're not wrong, however it might've made things too easy for SG-1 or perhaps it'd be too expensive production wise. Who knows. The main reason Atlantis had Puddle Jumpers was due to some gates for some reason being in orbit around planets.
@@TonyWasHere I would have to do a hard re-watch to be sure, but there are benefits to the gates being in space and not on the planet. It does limit undesired gate travel to that location. No ship, no travel. So if you wanted to say, build a secret base or something, that would be a good start to keeping away prying eyes. A second theory might be that the planet isn't the reason the gate was put there and that something else in space nearby was the original point of interest. At that point, the only benefit I could see is that putting the gate in space would reduce travel time.

The gate system in MilkyWay is analog and in Pegasus galaxy it's digital.
Thank you Tony. Shanan has almost as much content as BlindWave. Keep up the good work, both of you. 🌹☮️🌹

10:05 And quietly the Turkey sandwich goes bad under the console overlooked forever.
I've heard the gates being described as Milky Way(sg-1) gates as Analogue and Pegasus(Atlantis) gates as Digital
Ahh, screwing up an entire galaxy on their first mission on new territory. Good ol' SG.
That Previsouly was worth it

Just perfect ! @@TonyWasHere
@@TonyWasHere that was a good one you had me laughing
this is when they stole 80% of the CGI budget from SG-1 and gave it to Atlantis :p
03:11 Not fair that the Ancient's used the Analog(rotary) gate system in Milky way and digital gate ststem in Pegasus galaxy.
Well, the Milky Way gates were built first
@@10thdoctor15 Are you sure? Even McKay said that Pegasus was the Ancient home galaxy. You would build a outdated gate system in another galaxy, to get around?
@@10thdoctor15 Why build a gate system in a different galaxy? Most people would start in their home galaxy or solar system.

Under ocean city --> above ocean city......
I'm getting Bioshock vibes.

Or bad memory, after having watched it so many times who knows it might happen
Why didn't Stargate Command have Gateship 1?
Because they conveniently didn't find one until later in Season 8 (she's up to 8x17)
They could've made a flying or driving vehicle for Jack O'Neill.@@TonyWasHere
