Are you even a weightlifter if none of your buddies are prevented from making the lads' holiday due to political unrest in his country? I don't think so.
The Fridging. Question: after two failed attempts at running RTA (knee injury flairs up around week 5/6), wondering if it's effective to try to run RTA at 1Xweek? This would allow more recovery and rehab work in the week.
I asked this a while ago after similar issues. The answer was No. once a week isn’t enough to stimulate a response. One session every four poss five days is ok, but you might do better (I did) with RTA2 as it isn’t as aggressive.
The RTA is a program to run when you are in good health and ready to push numbers. For what it’s worth (and that might be very little as I’m just an amateur) I think you’ll make more progress in the long run by rehabbing yourself first, and then running the RTA, rather than trying to do the two at once.

Perhaps consider running RTA 2.0. It's 12 weeks instead of 8 so the progression is less aggressive and might resolve your problem. Just a thought.
@@ronnieplumper6047 Right on. Had no idea that a 2.0 had been released. Thanks!
@@charliereynolds7519 Thank you!
