Is there a loss of brake pressure when alternating between the handbrake and foot break? Stunt riders usually go with a dual caliper setup to avoid this.
Just put one on myself. Easy, but had to bleed twice to get it right. KTM 300 XC. Will never own another dirt bike without Rekluse and rear brake kit, truly amazing. 10x better feel than a short throw brake pedal thru a mx boot.
I wish I was more mechanically inclined 😂 still running drum back and disc front and I can tell my braking systems at 70% of what it can do, I know the rear brake is adjusted one spline towards being loose but that's for winter riding one black ice and ruts since I'm running a 4.10" tire instead of 5.10" would an upgrade help for taking off or just more cc's because when I try to holeshot it either acts like its jabbing a pin even slipping the clutch. By new years I'll just drain the reservoir and refill with new dot 4 or buy bigger brake lines
If its drum its probably by wire so you might aswell get a bicycle brake, some brake wire, amd you run that to your foot brake lever, splice it into the existing mechanism and go... Thing is it will also pull the handbrake when using the footbreak and vica versa but i dont think its very smart. Better to upgrade to disk...
@@jonahchalat8650 I got MTB levers for my clutch front brake and rear brake. They are so much better than the motorbike levers. I did use them in a race about a month ago and no one noticed. I will never go back to motorbike levers.
If you like to stand a lot when you ride i.e technical rides etc where do you recommend the brake to be orientated. What is best practice in terms of what most run when they like to stand a lot. Brake on top or below?
So I’m a dh mountain biker just go buy a Hayes stroker brake take the OEM rear mastercylender cap drill a hole in it and thread it to match the banjo bolt that comes with the Hayes brake then do the exact same bless prosses

trackday u should look into the Clake dual control
Outstanding video. Cool music.
Where does this system expand when it heats up and how do you prevent the fluid from 'leaking' into this expansion when braking?
Can you run a foot and bar brake at the same time
Hola tenes para ktm 300 exc 2011. que precio tiene?

This seems pretty universal, will it fit my 2011 kx450f?
They are MTB brake levers!
How about use MTB levers for the front brake and clutch?
Would they pass scrutineering for a race?
Francisco Shi those brakes are actually meant for a downhill mountain bike you should have no problem passing spec

I can get normal pressure on the foot pedal but whatever I do I can't get pressure to the hand lever. Any ideas?
Now that you've got the parts on the bike get in touch with Rekluse and they can help you out! 866-735-5873 tech@rekluse.com
grosblyth did you ever figure it out?
Hi bros It's just me or someone else, think rekluse is selling a HAYES DH brake at higher cost,it's just to similar
Looks exactly like my levers on my Hayes Strokers
Is there anything like this for a harley softtail??

My approach: going up a hill, I want to use the clutch, going down a hill, I want to use a rear brake, therefore brake on top, clutch on bottom.
can your still use the foot brake
yes
Can you use these kits on sportbikes?
+Oloughlin2777 No, sorry. Rekluse doesn't offer sportbike applications, nor would we advise using this kit for such an application.
+Oloughlin2777 There is/are kits available for sport bikes, usually mounted on the fork between the tripple clamps, just for your thumb. Google it.
Great video.

Rekluse master cylinder my ass. It's a Hayes Stroker Trail. All the best.
*on , forgot to mention its just a starter bike
No music during talking -distracting

+Crispy Chips This is one of the easiest thing you can do to a bike other than sprockets or changing a wheel.
yea its not easy for me haha do u reckon just the regular bike shop would fit them
+Crispy Chips Yeah definitely. it'll probably cost 70-100 in labour
