Wish I could have a go at driving some of those old girls again. Loved those days
Magnifique tout ces camions que j ' ai côtoyer au long de ma carrière pendant 36 ans depuis 1974 sur toute l' Europe , Scandinavie , URSS . Merci pour ces souvenirs . Maintenant a la retraite .
WOW, this brings back many good memorys.
I have bin a Dutch lorrydriver since 1972 untill i stopped 4 years ago.
I have seen the most of europe. I have been even to Ankara in 1982.
I have also seen the most of England and the most of the transportcompanies in this movie.
I remember Dover Eastern Docks with Doris and the Greasy Spoon in the middle of the docks.
I also remember Dover Westerndockks and the trainferry and train station in the docks.
Just fantastic to see these photos, keep them coming for us old retired drivers.
Kind regards
Johnny
Thuis maken my Hearst beat raster especially the driving and the pictures of driving to the middle eist which Ihave done for Hearst greetings from Holland
So many great companies now no longer around. This country sold them all down the river, handing the Eastern Bloc freedom to decimate the British haulage industry. Sad to see, but thanks for posting.
Bonjour je suis routier portugais depuis 2006 et je vais beaucoup en france et italie et j'aime bien
Great to see the Currie European trucks, fantastic memories me and Eddie Guy .S449 JSW, first top line scania ❤
I'm glad you enjoyed watching the video
Every Denby truck I remember was painted red with a yard brush mostly DAF 3300 and 3600ati with all the badging and grill painted over with the same yard brush
them old 3300 and 2800 by daf bring back lots of memories as a kid for me then you were a superstar driver with the bigger truck

Hi t you top video again
Thank you again glad your injoying then Glyn
I remember ACH near Aylesbury as a teenager, sadly no longer now, great pics of the past.
Yes taken over by Norbert Dentrisangle.
Some nice outfits seen on this vid & glad that Astrans kit got a showing.
S.C.A , would be nice to see some of those as well.
These were the lawless days (ish) where you just cracked on no matter from where you came from (country that is) and you could count on “one” hand those outfits that ran to the book.
We did though all have a chuckle or two when we eventually parked up.
Never a truer word said.
Good days good memories long gone never to return.
I enjoyed every minute of it.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(!!
THE Classc OLD Truck inconc British Road truck 🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧👍
Mostly from an era when British hauliers with British drivers hauled British goods all over Europe and beyond. Some big names in the transport game all mostly gone now. Decimated by the EU open rules and the Eastern European hauliers paying shit wages with drivers living in trucks for months on end who were allowed to come over and run riot not just with continental but UK domestic haulage as well.
I tried to explain to a copper what Cabotage was and he just shrugged his shoulders.
We need to keep them out now and rebuild our domestic industry we desperately need to thrive.
