Skip directly to 36:55 if you want to know about how percentiles of two shifts are combined. Nicely explained 👍🏼
Never thought that mathematics had huge role in a medicos life..... aryabhatta 🙏🙏🙏🙏
But shouldn't this method be more apt for exams of same difficulty level. Every faculty member is admits that 2nd shift was more difficult. There are other examinations who conduct normalisation on scaled marks rather than raw marks , especially for papers at different levels of difficulties
Paper(easy) problems: silly mistake can cause you lost ranks, not much margin for any error to stay compitive
Paper(difficult) problems: you feel the need to attempt almost same name of questions, because you don't know the previous paper level and have to compete with them and same shift candidates. You got more minus points deducted
Whether easy or tough questions, they should limit the lengthy questions to same certain numbers.
I still prefer morning shifts than evening , you are anxious, tired and exhausted waiting and thinking what might happen. When you are tired and see this lenthy questions, byebye, tata
Zynerd is the goat 🐐 🙌 👌 always ..
You are so humble and yet so standard sir ❤❤❤
Thanks for your kind words sir.
This NEET PG is really messed up !
2nd shift candidates: 🐯🐯🐯🐯
1st shift candidates: 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Sir please do my pay heed to negative comments they probably are bitter about their performance in the exam. This is one of the best videos about normalisation however a bit lengthy. Thank you
thank you for this sir.
Really good explanation thank you
Beautifully explained ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you sir. Please do share with others for whom you think this would be helpful.
Such a clear explanation, wish u were my biostatistics staff😢
thanks sir.
So Clearly explained 👍
In watching 1hr,the info which we need is of only 5mins,that itself we are missing watching the 1hr video
sorry about that sir. we believed a detailed explanation was required to clarify all queries. looks like we were wrong. if you can help us on which part to cut down to make it a shorter video, we can do that too(5 to 10 mins). already trimmed the first section. hope our other information helps you in the process of counselling.
Unnecessary information you’re giving, straight away come to the point.
Most of our videos will be similar sir. We try to explain in detail so that nothing gets missed out. Helps many who need additional info. Some might not know things already and would be well versed with the topic and might find additional information. Sorry that some of it was unnecessary for you.
All are necessary, u can't treat patient without knowing actual physiology and pathology behind that, u can't straight away for these symptoms, these tablets
A person scoring 500 in paper 2 might not do so in paper 1 despite it being apparently easier because he might not be able to recall the topics in that very well so how would you explain this unfair advantage to students
yes sir. we had mentioned this in part 2 as well. the difficulty level related difference exists whether it is a one shift paper or a two shift paper. this would have happened let us say if the question paper in shift 2 alone was done by everyone. taking it the other way let us say a good performing person in shift 1, ended up answering shift 2 paper he / she even though they can recall many topics might not have had the advantage of better preparation since the paper was easy. this is an issue even if there was only one shift and a very very easy question paper is used. then all well prepared candidates would have an issue in differentiating their preparations(ability to recall or answer) vs others. now this is differentiated across 2 shifts.
we are not justifying anything. how much of a difference that part makes - we cannot evaluate. and this is an issue every year whenever the paper is very very easy even in a single shift process. takes a different dimension when it is a 2 shift process.
Scoring 500 and above is tough let alone comparing with any paper.
Problems with paper 2 is that questions are lengthy, with extra 30 seconds per q you will score almost the more or less the same with paper one. I hope the normalization process works for the better of both shifts.
@@Tenshin-pz2kn hope so too man
Percentiles matchmaking in two shift is too bad , because it depends on level of question whether easy or difficult..
That's what we have tried to explain sir. May be you don't agree to the process.
you can see that both 705 marks with a difficult question paper shift and 725 marks with an easier question paper shift both are rank 1 or 2. so the difficult level is adjusted in normalization. The same happens at every level.
Beautifully explained
Thank you sir. Please do share with others for whom you think this would be helpful.
Beautifully explained ZyNerd team.
thank you sir.
Great efforts in explaining 👌👌
Bless you ❤
All mbbs doctors very well know what is percentile
Unnecessary time waste in explaining formula etc
we have cut down that percentile part sir. it will reflect in another two hours. we still have a lot of questions every year in groups on how to calculate and hence we though that helped. with your feedback we have removed that. anything else that can make this better pls let us know. hope this video helped
Nbe ko gali dene ka man kar raha hai. 1 shift main kya problem thi
360 marks in shift 2 obc category this year neet pg . What goverment pg course will I be able to get?
toppers r always outliers how can u base entire paper based on 1 persons performance
it is not based on one person's performance mam. the first ranker might be 780 out of 800. still 2nd ranker would be same percentile even if they had scored 720 since they would be rank 2. it is the rank that matters. same for every rank. the issue of outliers is addressed by normalization
@@ZyNerdNEETPG sry my bad, excellent explanation sir
How to avail your counselling services?
Well explained.
sir colour blind can opt for surgery?
👍👍👍
Same yu could have explained in 10 min
@@hafidshabirbhat9502 thought we could explain in detail. will shorten it in future sir.
How do you know the marks for the respective rank sir ?
only after the scorecard is published.
42:49
Sir, how NBE will release the result, either with the rank & mark or rank & percentile?
we expect that it will be rank with percentile and marks (marks will be shift marks and equivalent marks too may be.). how the marks part will be - we are not sure sir.
Sir,thank you for the info 🙏
Sir can you explain about what will happen for service candidates who are going to get incentive marks?
not sure sir. raw scores equivalent marks might need to be given.
@@ZyNerdNEETPG meaning?
48:45 how they allott thses marks, i show in some videos, they told they will take average marks of top rankers and all candidates, make some percentage and multiply that with mark, is it true?
sir. please share one of these. we have explained till how the combined ranks are calculated. this is the process - no doubt. however if the raw equivalent score calculation - we have not done here. since we are not sure which shift will be taken.
if you share the video - we will let you knownof there is an error sir.
Long video just 10 minutes explained enough
sure sir. we will try to make the videos shorter
What is this 1hr video...pls make a shorter one..
We have explained in detail sir. We will try to make a shorter one.
Sir I think who got 5th rank in combined will be unlucky because he is 2 nd in his category @ 45:17
Due to some 500 members not attending he has most disadvantage
Whole neet pg 2024 batch is unlucky😢
That difference does occur yes sir. But in case another 1000 participated in his shift and one of them went above him - he/she would be at rank 3 within shift and may be rank 6 within shift. but yes - we don't know that and yes for toppers within ranks 100, a 1 rank disadvatage may exist.
But yes. this minor one or two ranks change might be there. whether this impacts depends sir. that depends on whether the candidates expected seat closes exactly at 3 or 4.
@@ZyNerdNEETPG
Yes sir ..
If difference is less than 1000 or 500 we have to use same denominator
Approximate date of starting counselling....
We expect that it will start earliest after the 3rd week of September. Not before that.
Unnecessarily so long video.. but still did not get the gist
Let us know your query sir. We will still try to explain.
And sorry if this video did not meet your expectations. Some of them seem to get it and we can see that some might want a shorter version. We will try to do one.
Very bad video.... please don't waste time in this vdo
not sure why we have both positive negative comments on the same video sir. if you can let us know we will try to correct the same too.
