In INICET 2024 July session, i was allotted PGI Chandigarh GS. And I have selected option 2 and submitted the documents.
So i don't have to give reporting in the PGI before the 2nd round result right?

Joined 2 nd round.join the duties.apply for open round . For better seat.but. If he wants to retained the 2 nd round seat. What to do?
Cannot go back to Round 2 seat if you get a better seat in Open round. Round 2 seat will be allotted to someone else (if you get upgraded to better seat in Open Round)
Only way to retain or continue with Round 2 seat is IF YOU DONT GET UPGRADED IN OPEN ROUND.
Joined R2 seat / Started R2 duties / Did not join / Have not started do not matter.

Got seat jipmer .on open round. We paid 3 lac deposit. Previously joined AIIMS in 2 nd round. Now what procedure. To get deposit.
Nothing to be done. You will get the jipmer 3 lakhs back in max 2 months. Usually by March end. AIIMS will intimate on the refund. As of now nothing to be done.
For AIIMS resignation check with aiims. That's separate.

Sir what if the seat I get a seat alloted in the second round in JPIMER and i go for open round and get a better seat in JIPMER itself...should I pay the resignation fee of 3 lakhs to JIPMER?
No need i think.. penalty is only when you want your certificates back

I think you do have to pay.. because you are resigning one job(eg pedia) and taking another job (eg medicine) even if it is the same institute.(not sure though)

I think if we are not allotted and we do not join then it will be refunded back
But if you know your preference then you know for sure, you'll not get into then we do not mark that as a preference right?!

yes sir. you can apply for open rounds.
what if someone is not allotted a seat in the open round, will that be refunded?
You will get the refund if not allotted in Open round. The refund will be in the month of March end or max by April mid. (Usual timeline is within 30 days after the last date of admission)

What if someone took the seat in round 1 and payed 3 lakh or submitted cirtificate. Then he decides to leave the seat before round 2 , will he have to pay penalty to get back the cirtificates or would they give back the 3 lakhs that he payed?
In the video its said that there is no penalty for leaving the seat in round 1 , then what is the point of taking 3 lakh security deposit from round 1 alloted candidates ?
Sir - can you pls mention where it says so. Exact time pls. Will explain. Couldn't figure out where we had mentioned so.
From 22:00 to 26:00 it has been mentioned that there is a penalty of 3 lakhs. (Specifically from 24:20 to 25:20 also mentions the certificates being with them / 3 lakhs payment)
If you leave in round 1 before joining (i.e. didn’t choose any option after round one results came) then there is no penalty. But once you join and submit, that means you have taken that seat ..so penalty is there.
If you chose to join in round 1 but didn’t report on the reporting date…I think you will be disqualified from counselling. (Not entirely sure though)

1 am a Dheevara candidate. Whether any caste wise reservation to me. Because I belong to OBC
sir - pls check central OBC NCL list. if you belong to OBC and income is as per prescribed guidelines you can claim OBC NCL in all india counselling.
in your state you have to check which category of the state your category comes under. you are eligible for reservation under this category.
I took seat from round 1 and opt option 1
Can I participate in open round?

In 1st round
Option 1 is for “who do not want to participate in further round”
Option 2 is for “want to participate in 2nd round”
