I think u r wrong here Correct me if i am wrong Nominal stress is the stress at the notch with the reduced area And the maximum stress is the actual stress that we find on the notch this is why we use k stress concentration factor
As you said ratio of maximum and nominal at same section That means both stresses at same section But later you said nominal stress is stress at actual dia. Why is it so ?

sorry, wrong analogy. nominal stress is stress at reduced C/S area.
even i saw that
in numericals they always take reduced crosss section one as nominal
I think u r wrong here
Correct me if i am wrong
Nominal stress is the stress at the notch with the reduced area
And the maximum stress is the actual stress that we find on the notch this is why we use k stress concentration factor
I liked your video sir
Thanks for watching, stay tuned for more videos.
thnku so much sir
Respected Sir, Is stress concentration factor depends upon material????
if yes how and if no then it is function of which factors.....
all of your videos are understantable and try to emphasise more in short....also....
Bro it's already 3 min. Video
sir which stress, tensile or shear
tensile or concentrated
As you said ratio of maximum and nominal at same section
That means both stresses at same section
But later you said nominal stress is stress at actual dia.
Why is it so ?
I think he is wrong here
