I’ve been to the Japanese-inspired building. It was a great stop to have lunch with my family! Great episode! I’m going to look for Charlie’s Soap the next time I’m at the store.
This is really awesome! We kayak the Mayo from "Mayodan" it is beuaitful! IF you go back right now - they have "Hayodan" where the town decoorates Hay Bales! It is really pretty this time of year as well! My wife runs in the park there in town.

New sub to the channel, and have to say you vids are well put together and very informative about the area. We try and discover a new section on the Blue Ridge Parkway every year, but will definitely be making a day trip over to check these towns out as part of our next adventure.
Hi, BTW we just took a ride to the State park about two months ago where the park ranger told us about the falls.. So we rode up to the falls the gravely road was a little tricky for my wife especially at the parking area and the en even ground. But she soldiered through we ended up parking on the grassy area where the road and the parking area meet.

I had so much fun working on this video. I got a ton of footage and it was really hard editing it down. I know it is kind of long but I think if I cut any more it wouldn't be as good. Have you used Charlies soap, been to Mayodan, or know about Fall Creek Falls?

I'm so glad it worked out. Those gravel roads can be really challenging!

Keep a metal plate with you that you can place under the kick stand, this will prevent the fall over. It can even happen on asphalt.

Yes but it is a short hike, maybe 1/10 of a mile.
