    Awesome video. I'm restoring a 1992 GT262 now. Your video has helped to keep me motivated.
    You have a new sub. 👍

    Did you take every component off the frame when you painted it?

    Amazing job! The 318 looks almost new, for being 30 years old! You should get the sticker in a few days ;). I put it in the mail today. It'll be a nice, small touch for it.

    WOW! Looks better than new! Very nice work Evan. Looks so much nicer than the original powder coat, that's for sure. You can ship out those hydro pump relief valves to get rebuilt. Machtech Direct in Ohio will rebuild them for about $40 a piece. Can't wait to see the tractor in person.

    Looks good. I am doing my 318 right now. Can I ask what you used for the foam backing on the plate behind the motor? And where you got it? Thanks.

    How many hours on the tractor?

    • @1990johndeere318
      @1990johndeere318  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It currently has about 2100 hours.

      @@1990johndeere318 That’s due for a Rebuild, they are considered 1500 hour engines. I have one with 1800 hrs and it is due too. But I just use it for snow blowing.

      @@markpontes4457 I will probably get it done eventually. So far it doesn't burn any oil. It doesn't even smoke. Sometimes I wonder if it has been rebuilt just by how good it runs.

    Although I must say it's sad to see the old battery go...not too many batteries make it 10 years before going bad. It definitely served its purpose lol

      Lol Yeah I think it was done. At least it was at home and not at a show.It defiantly starts better with the new battery.

    I did a mini restoration to my 318, thinking that the 318 was a powder coat, the johndeer paint I used look different from original
