    These agility & skills courses/exercises are designed to help develop the fundamental riding skills of clutch, throttle, brake and active balance by the rider.
    Precise practice in coordinating these techniques can lead to instinctive/reflexive actions by the rider and allow for more precise control of the motorcycle.
    Mastery of these techniques allows the rider to more smoothly transition the bike when cornering as well as being able to react reflexively when encountering unexpected changes in surface traction in off road conditions.
    Depending on your skill level, you may want to make the courses larger to feel more comfortable while you develop these skills.
    Performing these exercises carries a risk of dropping your motorcycle which may result in damage to you or your motorcycle. Always be sure that your bike has the proper crash guards and that you also wear the appropriate protective gear.

    Invaluable skill. Instinctively had to do this to lift the front wheel over a deep erosion ditch at 30mph in the Morrocan Saharah last month. Was OMG!

    Looking forward to seeing a video about this from your channel! I just want to be able to clear the front tire over obstacles reliably.

      👍 Yes! Being able to lift that front a bit opens up a lot of riding options off road.

    The GS and GSA are difficult to get the front up when off road unless you have a slight bump or can compress the front more. As always more practice!

    I need to practice this soooo badly! In general, on a1250GS, with all of its torque, is it better to do this in 2nd grear?

    • @advmotoskillz
      @advmotoskillz  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I would recommend first gear. Have a finger ready to pull the clutch at all times and a toe to step on the rear brake. Definitely watch Chris’s How to Wheelie video. It is the best tutorial out there!

      Traction control is off to allow for rear tire grip. Mode & ABS choice are less important. I suggest watching Chris Birch's video here th-cam.com/video/6oh95eTdsNs/w-d-xo.html
