I have this injury and have been self taping ...Looking for a good instructive video to share to a fellow sufferer.. I will suggest that instead of sitting, you might support the front part of the foot on a plinth or a chair to get better support and to better administer the tape sections when standing up..This is the only way that I can get away doing it properly ( = elderly gent)
A very helpful video as I currently have an ankle sprain. Easy instructions and good visuals especially with the required percentage stretch instruction included. Thank you for posting this.
Loved anchoring the first strip on medial mallets, I didnt have enough leverage coming from just the bottom of foot. Slipped on Black doing home care PT, last week. I also love the wider distribution, and got all 3 ligaments covered. Now can go back to the trenches to see my motor vehicle accidents, gun shot wounds, total joints, etc. With over over and high tops, should be in much better shape. Ice, ultrasound and tape . Thanks
A really helpful and easy to learn tutorial. I needed it based on the recent events. I went to the hospital to take care of my foot. They just scanned it, told me that I turned my ankle and just to put ice. They never wrapped it...
Hi, John! Great video. Very clear!! Question: I've seen other videos where they crisscross over the top -- which I guess is for a different type of sprain. How do you know whether do this configuration or the crisscross configuration?
Id like to ask you something . What can be the main problem for toes immobility ? In one of my foot i do not have any problem to do movement with my toes but in onother is realy difficult . I feel like my toes in these foot are very stiff . Can you also recommend some exercises and tapping , please?!
It is hard to comment without looking at you so I can se you in Oxford if you want to make an appointment. Toe immobility can be through many reasons, regards JG
How's the above method different from th-cam.com/video/MuYG-lWbzV4/w-d-xo.html Do we try the above video when you have to apply the tape by yourself, whereas the other one when there's someone else available who could help apply the tape?
