I too would have done the same thing. As a Richmond fan I have been taught in no way, shape or form to dislike/hate Collingwood. And from Kane's side of it, when you have been copping it from someone over a period of time you reach a kind of snapping point and just give it back to whomever has been sledging you. It's not the best way to go about it but there are reasonable grounds for Kane's actions

Integrity ! The only way to get it back is to clean your slate until your free from the shackles! Good on you for having the decency when after 18 years you did it for the right reasons ! It’s not like it was a threat or going to affect your career , so cleaning out the closet as one gets older and wiser and learns that integrity can’t be bought and it’s really not earned either! It’s something that stares back at you every day in the mirror and sets you free.
