Minkjedi333 Much appreciated! I think Olly in the Alfa would have me - I’d have to compensate with plums of steel! Get yourself a run around when you’re back from HK over Xmas and we can all get on the track.
Enjoying the 205 vids mate. Struggle to hear you a bit when you are not near the camera. Also when you open the doors, there SHOULD be a click, i think in 2 different places/stages - its to stop the door blowing wide open, and allows you to open the door and 'lock' it in place while getting out. At least all mine used to do that.
Allan Brownie thank you for the feedback - we are playing with microphone setups, hopefully a bit of trial and error and we will be sorted for the next video! I had quite a harsh check strapping issue that was so loud I was embarrassed to open my door too wide in public - resulting in me squeezing in and out. Wasn’t a good look ha! All sorted now 👍🏼.
Please sort those driving lights and front grill, I’m not sure it’s right! There shouldn’t be white between the slats, is it aftermarket or one for colder climates? If so it’s not right at all, for a start, air won’t be getting to the radiator!. Car looks clear overall, what’s it like underneath? Good stuff so far though 👍
It needs the correct foglights, and the ride height looks a bit too low. Have the springs collapsed or been modified, or is the fish-eye mode a bit deceptive? Did you experience the common fault of stalling under hard braking (which was an oil pressure fault, I think), or has this been remedied? Well done for keeping this 205 alive, and in factory spec. The 1.9 GTI will always be the greatest hatch ever made, and may be the greatest car.
Hi! Foglights are now finally updated - it was not fun removing the old rusted on nuts..! The previous owner upgraded the suspension and I agree - it sits too low. Never stalled braking hard, will look out for that one.! Thanks for the comment and feedback and stay tuned for more 205 content. Tom
If you struggle to get a replacement grille badge in good condition, you can get a chrome sticker from here: vehicledecals.co.uk/product/peugeot-205-gti-xs-rallye-front-badge-repair-kit-chrome-vinyl-sticker-decals/ It should save you paying £50 for a new one from France 👍
I have the same motor and don’t live far from that location just had all the interior done if you need information reach out check out my Instagram johnh128 I have the central seat parts going up for sale Keep up the good work
Hi mate, I seem to have inherited the car. Really good video. Hoping to bring it back on the road🙂
Needs a gti rear valance aswell.
The Pug is coming together ! Love how the list is on the laptop !
Has Tom heard of Airdrop? If you see him going out the door with his Datapoint 2200, stop him lol
@@james-r I have explained it to him before, I will explain it to him again 😂😂
Great Vid! Track day for both of these cars soon?
