I'm so incredibly sorry, my own mother is currently going through treatment for stage 4 colon cancer. I wish you all the best, hugs and kisses - Sarah xx
When I got my bone marrow test it hurt so bad I got fever I'm so proud of her to have gone thru that shit :) I am to a survivor of a rare cancer only 12 people got last years and it only happens on adults but me a 13 year old at the time got it somehow 7 months of hell :D
ELLEN PLEASE GET GABE HURLEY ON YOUR SHOW. He is blind, and a drunken driving accident survivor. Yet, he is incredibly positive, an amazing guitar player, and a motivational speaker. He is such an inspiration and it is his dream to come on the show.
oh but you are missing the point completely. They aren't "bad things" at all. They are "beautiful things" set out to challenge us and better us and make us more and more internally beautiful. I still have my whole life ahead of me, but I know for sure I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for the obstacles I have had to face. Sometimes these "bad things" put me down, but it is videos like these ones that remind me of the amazing mindset these obstacles have given me. I wouldn't change my situation for the world.

Good for her and big damn deal there are thousands of women who fought the battle and won. And most of them didn't have the money or medical care she had
Your comment shows that you do not know the importance of human life. Yes, she may have had the money or good medical care but when it comes to life, you cannot group it according to rich, poor, male or female! How ever rich she may be, her life is as important as the life of any other human who survived or failed to survive a life threatening disease. People sometimes only talk about how poor peoples' lives are as important as the rich peoples' but then it works the other way round also you know.
It isn't about how much money you have. If you are a weak spirit and do not fight through such a tragedy, you will lose the battle. If you REALLY want to live and believe that you will survive, you will survive.
Vlada Alexa Zaglada If I had bucks in my bank account and was sick, believe me- my spirit would soar. I would fight my ass off to beat the disease. But I know too many people who have lost their jobs and insurance, then have been diagnosed with an illness and have no money and no team of the best doctors to fight it, like the privileged 'brave' celebrities on the cover of People. Is it any surprise the less fortunate lose the battle? Faith is relevant, but it doesn't mean shit to a doctor.
And like the Red Cross and blood donation - gay people cannot give bone marrow. I was added to the list during my time in the military. 10 years later, I was connected and tested as a perfect match. After further interviewing and questioning, I was denied based upon my 'sexual orientation' and 'active lifestyle.' Denied by the government, not by the family. I never knew what happened to the gentleman who needed the transplant. I hope another 'approved' donor was found.
I depends on the kind of cancer you have. If it's breast cancer, for example, some women actually feel a lump in their breast, in the shower maybe. Or they went for a mammogram and the doctor saw something inconclusive so further tests are done. And if you get treatment for cancer and you end up beating it and being what they call cancer free, after that you will still have to go for regular check ups and blood tests and so on, which is probably how they found something was wrong with Roberts. But as I said, it depends on the cancer. There are usually symptoms, but not all the time, which is exactly why everyone should go to regular check ups and do self checks as well. :) I hope that helped?
This woman is amazing, not just the fact that she survived all these health problems, but because of her mindset on life etc.

BOTH AWESOME WOMEN!! BARRIER BREAKING AWESOME ROCK-STAR WOMEN!!
Such a strong and Beautiful woman wow
The existential crisis question: Why do such bad things happen to nice and mentally beautiful people like Robin?
oh but you are missing the point completely. They aren't "bad things" at all. They are "beautiful things" set out to challenge us and better us and make us more and more internally beautiful. Seriously? They don't have a real reason to deny you because of your sexual orientation, especially because you are a match!
