It's not a port but u should try a multiplayer server on MTA San Andreas (multiplayer GTA SA mod) called NFS:SA. It's basically NFS World with some other need for speed games but it happens entirely in San Andreas
Fun fact, many of the glitches are caused by the fact that the game is ran on an emulator. Many of the issues are missing when playing on real hardware, be it Wii or PS2. Rubberbanding still broken tho. Also the 911 GT2 livery is like this only on the Wii port. The PS2 port uses the normal livery.

I quite honestly prefer this version over the ps3 version, despite being more broken and missing some songs and cars, handling is definetly better in the wii version
I dont think the SD version is more broken. Unless you played on the 360 which was VERY SLIGHTLY more stable, the HD version is truly broken, it crashes all the time on the PS3 or PC
and all coincidentally, there are 2 songs that are missing from next gen versions, and even unique cop cars like Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Porsche 911 GT2 (996)
If I remember, when I was a kid I played the PS2 version and somehow kinda broke the mission where we had to help Carmen by destroying some of the enemy cars. I think it was that the enemy cars wasn't spawn, so somehow I just softlocked the mission (and Carmen just cruising around while me trying to think what should I do lol). But man, that mission really frustrates me (because after the enemy spawn cutscene the game puts my car really far from them, not to mention there are THREE of them)

I've actually enjoyed quite a lot this game (when I was more of a child...) but yeah, it's pretty broken. Rubberbanding is at stupidly high levels and pretty much stupid police AI. Also my disc was really scratched, so it had issues while loading some zones of the map. Best experience ever 😂

I found a Money glitch for the wii: If you play the cop mode twice in a row, the Lancer at he end will spring back to life in the bust freeze frame. You can bust it and it will add to the cash payout
I discovered NFS on this Wii version. For me, it wasn't that bad. It was a mature game in an ocean of party games, it was appreciable. But years later, when I bought this game on the PC, I didn't recognize anything and I immediately dislike the real game. Years laters, again, I discovered NFS most wanted 2005 and I felt in love of it. I realized that undercover for old gen consoles was entirely based on it.
I grew up playing this game on wii with the motion sensor wheel. Their was this one area of the map that you can jump to the edge of the world over a bridge and make cops crash. It was fun. That and also the physics engine if you had a heavy fast muscle car you could just plow through roadblocks.
You can use that hiding spot, you just need to hug the wall, but i agree 90% of hiding spots are haphazardly or illogicaly put around as afterthought xd Wii was earlier and has couple bugs compared to PS2 version, including Hero livery of M3 not beign replaced by proper texture for 911 GT2. PS2 has that and police van fixed. Wii has much better splitscreen tho as it can be up to 4 players.
Considering that you ran it through an emulator this can bring its own bugs.. also if the original game was capped at 30 fps and you run it at 60 this can also bring issues as well.. i.e. i played breath of the wild and a boss would fly through walls bacause of the uncapped frames. But overall.. i enjoyedthis video alot.
my wii trinity were undercover, prostreet and nitro. the run got me glued to the couch and excited for every little "cutscene".. but the finale was so..eh, i remember just staring at the tv with my nunchuck and going "..that's it..?"
I played the PS2 version and I liked it a lot, I did the campaign several times with different cars, while my mom was cleaning my room she dropped the game cover and the support that held the disc was broken so when it fell the disc was damaged, when I bought it another copy (all my PS2 games were pirated lol) the new one had a lot of bugs when rendering the map and sometimes the cutscenes broke completely, all the other copies I bought had the same problems, years later I found out that the game is really broken like that, apparently the person who pirated the NFS Undercover I had played for the first time had fixed most of the bugs
it took me so damn long to realize that porsche at the end of the game has the same design as the m3 from most wanted and i have played nfsu on the wii yearly since 2012 LOL
6:38 Yeah, this game features the most extreme implementation of rubberbanding I've ever seen. The game seems to make a dome-shaped barrier around your car the rival can't get out of no matter what until it decides it's time to release the throttle thus let you win. Even Criterion's _Most Wanted_ is more subtle, and I'm talking about a game where I've had rival cars slam my butt at easily 500 km/h because I didn't bother to look back to make them pretend fair, and where I've seen cars drive a corner at triple the possible speed, then get into my eyesight, engage their _Disguise Mode_ and fly towards an invisible wall three meters above the road. And yes, I know _Most Wanted_ also does the dome trick, both in All-in and Disguised rubberbanding, but still. Also, the Disguised dome is much broader.
I love the WII version. I played it as a kid so much and I loved every second. It's my favorite part, even better then heat or unbound. So sad it's not available on new gen as a remake
The PS2 version is the one I played, so seeing the PC version feels like a way different game, but it's cool seeing the Wii version look like the one I'm familiar with. I never knew that the 7th gen consoles were the same as the PC version, and I thought the Wii version was way worse due to previous ports
BROO This was my childhood on the wii playing this game. I never ever remember the names of the old games I used to play but I finally found this one. One of my favourites
I've enjoyed playing this game quite a lot on PCSX2 (I actually made it work pretty smoothly) couple of years ago and on PS2 back in the day, and actually enjoyed it a lot. I was shocked at how blatently cheating the AI was (especially being a kid not knowing what rubberband was), and I also don't remember some bugs occuring on original hardware, but those might be my kid's rose colored glasses. Also, I think there is a bug with some cars being purple and also I don't remember that GT2 Porsche looking like that on PS2 version, might be someone at Exient doing a tee-hee moment.
Yeah I've also been replaying on the PCXS2 for game play and I realized how shitty the rubber banding is. I've had times where I'm 160 in 1st place and the AI will pass me on the last turn🤣
Rubberband is only problem with it. Rest is lack of polish from 6 months development time that Exient had. Game also gets confused and makes you win when ai gets ahead with extreme rubberband sometimes
Wii and PS2 received mostly the same version, coincidentally these where my last consoles before I invested on a PC. So back in the day I couldn't understand why people said this was a bad game, I really enjoyed it, obviously. EDIT: I don't know if it's the emulation or the version differences, but I have never experienced any of those weird things, other than the excessive rubberbanding.
I legit played more that 100 hours of this game on wii (some years ago), i completed every mission and farmed the police thing until i had money to buy the best cars (i bought most of them)
I had the Wii version of this game and I actually loved it. The only thing I hated about it was that when I would put certain body kits on certain cars, it would cause the game to freeze. That was the only thing I didn’t like. Nonetheless, this is an awesome game.
I remember when I played this game on Wii as a kid, there would be moments where the game would freeze up and it made this extremely irritating noise. This was definitely a sign of the broken state of this version of the game.
I got a Wii and 1-2 months ago replayed it. Really fun, since it basically is Most Wanted but with wonderful Lensflare. Also on the Wii other than Explosions and Pursuitbrakers no Slow downs whatsoever. Cops though are broken. And not to mention Rubberband in Highway and Outrun. Damn, gona start this up today again. I played a TON of Carbon on the Wii when I was young, had also Hot Pursuit and 100% both multiple times, just like Undercover. The thing with Undercover on the Wii is that it's a fun, different take of Most Wanted in a nicer looking seeting. I just love Lensflare and such. The game gives me massive 2Fast2Furious vibes.
It was really just a big Most Wanted mod. Wish they had more time to finish it. DS version of Undercover still has the worst rubberband imo, you either win in 10-20 seconds (if AI hits the traffic at the start and you burn all your Nitro right away) or you lose.
The memory is a bit hazy, but I remember you could basically make the wheels domes. Idk why I thought it looked cool but I rocked the dome wheels on my eclipse 😂
I loved this game. The issues I hit with it at the end was I didnt know how to make more money after the story races were done. The cops were also insane in this game. I was parked up at an intersection once and made my away across and a cop flew by going like 180 and tboned me, wasting me and also starting a police chase
I played this when I was far too young. Kept on restarting my save file because I wanted to play the opening race with the Lamborghini over and over again. What could’ve been.
i remember playing this non stop as a kid, i just ran around in my camaro not doing missions escaping from the police, this game is the goat for me no discussions
I loved this game back in the day because I never knew the PS3/X360 versions and I really played it to death. Unfortunately it started crashing when I tried to change the car and came across the Mitsubishi eclipse
8:26 it's also in the ps3, xbox 360 and pc versions of nfs undercover(if you visit sunset hills) and nfs world (near century square in downtown rockport)
I remember playing the PS2 version as well. In fact, I remember playing a particular Outrun race (or whatever those race types were called) and when I made the opponent wreck so I could smoke them, the result screen said that the opponent went over 600 MPH. Rubberbanding A.I suck so hard. Hell, I even see that shit in Hot Pursuit Remastered. Honestly, I loved the hell out of this game, despite how downgraded it was. But I hated this race where you had to protect the chick from the goons.
I remember when I played the game on my wii. that police truck was green instead of orange and I thought it was some kind of money truck I had to destroy
The game was glitchy as all hell, but if you replayed a certain mission after playing the Pursuit Mustang mission several times, you COULD manage to swap out the Mustang model with the Civic Pursuit Cruiser and it was SUPER trippy. I think I still have my save data, I just gotta get my Wii running and get a copy of NFS UC.
13:40 Edna, the bugged cutscene is actually an issue when you're playing on OpenGL rendered. I noticed this issue today when starting to play NFS Nitro. After changing to Direct11, it works fine
November 2008. My brother bought this game and began playing it in his PS2. Then I saw this kind of HUD, despite knowing that it has the teal-ish HUD. Only years later I learned that the PS2 version is different than the PC version.
3:48 idk if i'm tripping here but i remember that the game on Wii was less yellow and had a more natural look to it. The emulated game looks a little different besides the higher resolution, maybe it is something to do with the ISO or the emulator settings The animations are actually bad even running the game on a Wii, but the AI doesn't brake in the middle of a race as shown in the video, and it also doesn't rubberband as much as in 13:29 but it is still a lot of rubberband, after getting stuck they catch up in some 3 seconds Now the beeg thing is that the game is similar to Mario's Missing, where the weaker console has the best version, exactly because the game is more limited
The PS2 version was the same as the Wii version, to a degree. Loved making a +300mph Viper. XD and You could free roam freely without the cops getting a forever hardon searching for you like in the HD versions.
Fun fact: I only played the Ps2 version of the game and honestly I enjoyed every bit of it, the bugs are funny and entertaining. This game is a hidden Gem 💎😂 Thank you for bringing back so many memories🤣💙, btw the final Porsche 911 on ps2 was actually black and red😄, plus the Ps2 game soundtrack was actually very enjoyable, I recommend you play it even off screen 😂🤝
I played this versión the very first, and i must say that most of the bugs are for the emulator. That game hates emulators. When i completed it rhe first time rhere were a few bugs and the ai trully ruberband, but all hideouts, cops and ai (except for that highway mode) work decent
This is why reviewers really need to play on original hardware because reviewers more often than not make the game look bad by playing it on emulator sure footage looks cleaner but that's it
I had this game as a lil kid who didnt know eng back then. And this game was fucking broken. There was a mission where you had to drive a porsche and you couldnt damage it and ALWAYS the end of the mission, when you had to jump over the bridge, mine porsche was getting destroyed and the mission failed EVERY SINGLE TIME. At the end I sold this game.
I once tried the PS2 and Wii version of Undercover, but then I've stopped playing it since my laptop is not powerful enough to play on an emulator. Also there's a mobile version of the game that I have played it on my iPad when I was a kid. keep up. 13:47 M3 GTR livery on a Porsche is cursed looking.
This is the version I played. It wasn't a great game by any means but I did enjoy it enough. idr all these glitches though. Wait, 6:39 that one did happen, often. I do remember the hideout placements were a bit off, but not by that much. Then again I didn't use those all that much, much more fun for me to outgun the cops properly.
I was very bad at racing games as a child and had both this and most wanted Since most wanted was a lot more difficulti played this instead and i had very fond memories of the stupid shenanigans you could do

6:39 average nfs mw 2012 moment if your opponent is back after a crash
the rubber banding and the ' auto pilot' were also broken in the original ps2 NFS most wanted.
I remember when I played the game on my wii. that police truck was green instead of orange and I thought it was some kind of money truck I had to destroy
I respect you because Carbon and Prostreet are my favorite racing games for the DS aswell
3:29 it's like Exient made technology that predated ReShade's reflection preset. 😂
The game was glitchy as all hell, but if you replayed a certain mission after playing the Pursuit Mustang mission several times, you COULD manage to swap out the Mustang model with the Civic Pursuit Cruiser and it was SUPER trippy. I think I still have my save data, I just gotta get my Wii running and get a copy of NFS UC.
editors note: you dont need "the" before "November of 2008" as November is an article in addition to a proper noun. awesome video tho, love ur content

This was a thing on PS2 as well.
You start with the Mustang, but can also unlock a Gallardo and 911-GT2
You can have a viper too, i got it, it was so much faster than the normal one it didn't make any sense
I know about that one, but never unlocked it.
In the off chance I get my PS2 running again, how do I unlock it?
3:48 idk if i'm tripping here but i remember that the game on Wii was less yellow and had a more natural look to it. The emulated game looks a little different besides the higher resolution, maybe it is something to do with the ISO or the emulator settings
The animations are actually bad even running the game on a Wii, but the AI doesn't brake in the middle of a race as shown in the video, and it also doesn't rubberband as much as in 13:29 but it is still a lot of rubberband, after getting stuck they catch up in some 3 seconds
Now the beeg thing is that the game is similar to Mario's Missing, where the weaker console has the best version, exactly because the game is more limited
Love the bully theme in the background
The PS2 version was the same as the Wii version, to a degree. Loved making a +300mph Viper. XD and You could free roam freely without the cops getting a forever hardon searching for you like in the HD versions.
Reminds me of NFS Underground physics. Cars tumbling all over the place at mach speed.
The wii version of NFS was my first game of NSF ever and that got my hook for a few years
Fun fact: I only played the Ps2 version of the game and honestly I enjoyed every bit of it, the bugs are funny and entertaining.
This game is a hidden Gem 💎😂
Thank you for bringing back so many memories🤣💙, btw the final Porsche 911 on ps2 was actually black and red😄, plus the Ps2 game soundtrack was actually very enjoyable, I recommend you play it even off screen 😂🤝
Something I noticed, the Cars game came out on everything except the PS3, while your example shows a PS3 version
I played this versión the very first, and i must say that most of the bugs are for the emulator. That game hates emulators. When i completed it rhe first time rhere were a few bugs and the ai trully ruberband, but all hideouts, cops and ai (except for that highway mode) work decent
This is why reviewers really need to play on original hardware because reviewers more often than not make the game look bad by playing it on emulator sure footage looks cleaner but that's it
I played through undercover on my ps2 as a kid and honestly had a great time with it
Love that u use bully soundtrack for background music
I had this game as a lil kid who didnt know eng back then. And this game was fucking broken. There was a mission where you had to drive a porsche and you couldnt damage it and ALWAYS the end of the mission, when you had to jump over the bridge, mine porsche was getting destroyed and the mission failed EVERY SINGLE TIME. At the end I sold this game.
Loved this game as a kid, still love it till this day
I once tried the PS2 and Wii version of Undercover, but then I've stopped playing it since my laptop is not powerful enough to play on an emulator.
I remember playing this and found a glitch to go over 600mph in reverse if you could keep your car straight long enough
8:24 And this is an example of what the game's graphics could've been like if there was enough dev time.
i remember playing this and getting really far on ps2 until the cd got scratched enough times for the game to become unplayable. good times :'(
was my first nfs and i had it on my ps 2 my friend had it on the wii
Persona 5 Kaneshiro's palace theme in the background...A Man of culture i see...
This was my first ever need for speed game. I absolutely loved the game and still do to this day. No regrets
So... My first ever personal Need For Speed was this one, so i have a lot of fond memories.
I was very bad at racing games as a child and had both this and most wanted
Since most wanted was a lot more difficulti played this instead and i had very fond memories of the stupid shenanigans you could do
0:53 God damm I wasn’t expecting that
