Kamase maurice white was nowhere near underrated. He damn near single handedly assembled one of the most successful bands in the history of the industry. His lyrics crossed racial divides and encouraged us to explore spirituality. He totally got his props! 💙

I found this album in my sister's collection. It quickly became my favorite. It made me feel connected to God. I'm 57 years old and it is still my favorite album of all time!

I saw EWF in 1973 and 1978 at Madison Square Garden. I'll never forget those shows as long as I live! If Steve Harvey thinks he's the "biggest" fan, that's o.k.! He's STILL behind me!(laughing)
I played this song EVERY, SINGLE day for 6 years!! After 9-11, I left the DC area and came back to NJ because I couldn't(don't know why) get a new govt. security clearance even though I held a TS/SCI at the C.I.A. And yes, I'm Black! I was out-of-work for 6 years because of it.
This song helped me get thru those 6 years and I cannot thank EWF enough for it! They are the BADDEST, MOST INCREDIBLE GROUP of any genre of music in the history of the world!! I tell my school kids on my school bus. They're "beyond" icons!! Thanks to Maurice and the entire band! Greatest band to ever walk the earth!!!

When this album came out I did like I've always had done with new albums, played everything until I came on to this one song. I kept playing it over and over until my family told me to stop. They didn't like it but after a month, the song grew on them. I will forever love this song, pulled me out of lots of funky days.

I just saw EWF and Chicago at Saratoga,NY on Sat. Aug. 29,the show was great but EWF is still great but not the same without Maurice White.They still sound great and get the place jumping and get on stage with Chicago at the end and jam together,great show.I highly recommend if they come to your area see it.
