This video definitely deserves more engagement. Really appreciate you giving generalized tips and approaches in a very succinct package like this. Lots of legendary content covers things only relevant to a particular LL or focuses on very ultra specific steps of the form "do this, then this, then this" which tends to lack context and relies on lots of things that may not necessarily happen in the same order for any one person's campaign. It seems harder to find "big picture" approaches that you can have in your toolkit applicable to any campaign, like you've outlined here. Realize this was made a year ago, but really appreciate the work that went into this. Easy subscribe, please keep going!
Totally agree, though I must say the game is really easy in general. I can’t imagine losing most campaigns on any difficulty if the first 20 turns went well
There’s a mod on the workshop that enables pausing and saving in Legendary. Highly recommend, especially if your game crashes often or you encounter any of the millions of bugs Edit: also the battle AI on harder difficulties does all kind of dumb stuff that it doesn’t on Normal. So I recommend Legendary/Normal and use the difficulty slider to give the enemy the necessary bonuses
Some of those tips feel a bit (or more than that) "gamey" but they're certainly legitimate if you want to squeeze all out of the game that it has to offer. From a Lore or Roleplay perspective it might not be as enticing :x All in all, great video though, I especially need to learn how to play with my money. Because I go NEVER into the Reds, at all. In the very least I think if I have negative income I won't be able to afford bulding upgrades as soon as they're available thus delaying my power gain. But I guess that's something you learn over the time you play. As for what Lords to pick ... I personally just played the Changeling as my VERY first Legendary game, so far I only ever played N/N in more than 450h of playtime (and won very little campaigns actually and was struggling a LOT with certain Lords requiring like 20 do-overs
