This is the magic! The dances are flying over the floor!
These dancers are absolutely breathtaking in their appearance, their motions, their fluidity, but then there's that music. That music is so not right for this dance IMO. It sounds like carnival music. Yes yes yes I know, this is the music they dance to. That's obvious because they're dancing to it. I just think Sara Brighton's verson of "Pei Jesu" would suit their elegance so much more. Not just that song but all like it.

Cheguei aqui depois de ver o anime Ballroom e youkoso. Cara, as unicas danças que vi na vida era as que passavam no faustão com a dança dos famosos. Quando vi o anime, de inicio achei um pouco estranho a postura deles mas achava legal a dança. Depois fui vendo que é interessante e agora que pesquisei e vi pessoas reais fazendo isso, nossa, achei muito gracioso! O movimento que eles fazem é lindo, puts.

Ballroom e Youkoso me trajo acá.
The first one lacked passion. Sure, they had smiles on their faces, but they seemed so stiff and scared. I know their in front of an audience, and it can be nerve racking, but I feel lile they could have been a little more passionate, and just let themselves fall in to the movement of the music, and put a little more umph and swahhh into it. But that just my opinion :)

I and only 14 and have been ballroom dancing since the age of 3. I am fairly good for my age and now learn the men’s steps in the lower class for beginners so I can gain more understanding but I really want to become a professional ballroom dancer but don’t really know how to pursue this from weekly lessons. Does anyone have any advice . Thank you .

I've always really loved ballroom dancing, studied it, and even competed. However, more and more pretentious posing seems to take the stage what with over the top billowy dresses and unnatural postures, so much so that it's losing its appeal to me now. O another note, has anyone noticed how much the second dancer looks like young version of Sophia Loren?
