    I'd like to see a video on the Global Consciousness Project. I mean, I've got my own theory (albeit woo woo) about how EVERYTHING from Religion, Politics, Nationalism, Race, Socio-Economics... to Brand Loyalty and Professional Sports Fanaticism is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to cause division but it'd be interesting to hear your, presumably much saner take on the subject... lol

    If it’s been found that we would rather inflict pain than sit in our own thoughts. I think this can and should be connected with the pain of trauma/chaos. I say this because this is what I think is the big feeder of the algorithm and retention rate. It’s a simple observation, but can have absolutely insane implications that need to be adressed as the algorithm traps us into an addiction of pain that’s better than boredom but not actually beneficial (I feel like I want to look into whether this would fully destroy any chance of social media being a relaxation/recouping area for brakes and that might be why we never feel like we get enough relaxation)

    The Information Boom was to drown out accountability and created a vaster depth of possibilities and those fears were marketed to. While entering an increasingly noisier rushed brutalist extraverted culture, identity has become more narcissistic than contemplative. People speculate possibilities, wage odds and probability (rationalizing) going further from reasoning some of the circumstances necessary to understand well. Silently questioning one another rather than engaging with them, standing back (to be cynical) so that they can adhere to their favorite political thought map. We don't share ideas or discuss viewpoints much now and the "Era of the Battle of the Ideas" seems more like it was to squash dissent or speak out freely from an elitist's narrative that's loaded with cognitive/psychological warfare technics.

    The very fact that we assumme that all of us needs to find of fullfilment at work is sign of trouble. Work is for income, thought it would be nice for it to be, even if demending - well organized. Many jobs need to be done and let's leave it at that. It's lack of fullfillment AFTER work that should be troubling.

    • @JallenSandusky
      @JallenSandusky 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well there is an argument that you're going to be doing something for the resources you have anyways, and unless we become anarchocommunist farmers then there will be jobs to do. You should find something that gives you some sort of validation or fulfillment, at least to the point of being happy and comfortable enough to find actualisation outside of what you do to survive
      Now giving people more opportunity to find fulfilling jobs or communities and paying them enough to embark on life journeys is another problem

    In my experience and that of many others, wikipedia is still deserving of a great deal of skepticism. I only use it as a source if I know what they are saying consistent with other information I have, or can obtain. I rarely accept its information at face value and no one else should, either. After all, anyone can edit it at any time.

    I have never heard a youtuber use the term “social psychologist” and I am relieved.
    How many popular drama youtube commentators or the true crime youtuber “girlies” do you want to show this to?
    Just the concept that psychology and social stuff exists outside the mental illness/psychiatry narrative is beyond the scope of info the average popular youtuber understands.
    And while I’m here, psychiatrists are medical doctors…they don’t focus on this.
    Sorry leaving this selfish comment to boost; even though you have 2+ million subs.
