I haven't seen any tents on the streets, but the people who are sleeping in shop doorways, are choosing shops that are permanently closed, there seems to be a lot of those as well.
It also makes them too comfortable, There must be an incentive to want to turn your life around, I've lived on the streets and what got me off my arse was the cold and the rain

Tom we had this problem a few years ago, they mainly were in our tube stations, or out side shops, I’m not being heartless or cruel, but when these people were followed MANY of them turned out to be professional beggars, it sounds unbelievable but in this day and age, we can’t just go on what our eyes see, especially if they are covering their faces, genuine people need the help.

So, you stay over there and we will avoid you and not help you". As someone who is Autistic and has other health issues - even when people say they care, they actually don't want to have to deal with us. If you say you're autistic, workplaces will avoid hiring you and if they do and you ask for accommodation, they make up any situation to fire you... and the majority of us are struggling to function, just by default, on top of what everyone else has to deal with. Voters want the NHS to work, not ruined through cuts and privatisation. They want GP's. They want hospitals and schools that aren't in imminent danger of collapse. They want local government to be funded and not go bankcrupt due to cuts. They want sports facilities, libraries and roads that aren't so full of potholes they are liable to turn into dirt tracks. Voters want clean rivers and beaches. They want the cost of living to be reduced. They want bills to go down instead of overweening greed.There is nothing that the Tories have not ruined. It's the same logic with the sick and the disabled: "We don't want to have to adapt to/ adjust to/ accommodate/feel awkward around/ be inconvenienced by and around you. So, you stay over there and we will avoid you and not help you".
As someone who is Autistic and has other health issues - even when people say they care, they actually don't want to have to deal with us. If you say you're autistic, workplaces will avoid hiring you and if they do and you ask for accommodation, they make up any situation to fire you... and the majority of us are struggling to function, just by default, on top of what everyone else has to deal with.
The Government don't care about "burdens".

Homeless have been around for decades, there's more now as there is a larger population with successive govts encouraging more immigration whether legal or illegal.
