I'm glad that you're doing better you sound a lot better too the information in the video was very informative I learned a lot from your channel❤ sending spoons
Bivona does not have inner cannulas in the U.S. market. DIC tubes have been phased out. They do not offer these tubes, just BluSelect for PVC and Bivona silicone.
Thank you for the information. As of Feb 2024, the Bivona TTS and Aire-Cuf had the option of having an inner cannula. Inner cannulas were not included with the tracheosotmy tubes, but they could be purchased separately. (The inner cannulas were available for purchase in the USA.) If the Bivona inner cannulas have since been discontinued, my apologies for not being more up-to-date on the ever changing landscape of respiratory care.
I recently got changed to a bivona trach tube by my Dr. I'm having trouble getting used to it mainly because I'm scared of it coming out and not being able to put it back in since I have no experience with it. My question is. Is it easy for it to come out by accident
Thank you for sharing some of your concerns with me. If the trach tube is secured with trach tube ties or a trach tube holder, it should not come out. I used to use a Bivona. It did not come out on its own. Also, to insert the Bivona, it goes in quite easily.
@LifewithaVent thanks for replying i had complications with mine had to go to the ER turns out it got out of place and they fit it back in space but kept having issues where I couldn't breathe very well. They ended putting me back the Shiley which fix my breathing problems. It has rough past few days. I've only had my trach since November and I'm still getting used too it. Your videos have been lot help
