If you are in Australia and are looking for Reusable Hydraulic Hose Fittings click here: bit.ly/3n04vMb If in the U.S. get your Reusable Hydraulic Hose fittings from ValveHalla.com For JIC reusables bit.ly/3F2kijS For ORF S reusables bit.ly/34tkpsi
Thank you from Texas, USA..Recently bought these reusable fittings because I kept messing up hydraulic lines on my tractor. The reusable fitting will save me the trouble of going to a shop to have the hose made.
Great video as an operator I always thought you had to have a hydraulic crimper,I would like a video on identifying the different types of connections for different machines and adapter parts, plus the hand crimping tool advertising on line
used a few of these 30+ never leaked over the years they have been in....the beauty is if the hose is a bit long, you just cut it off and do it again....with an impact driver and long sockets you can do a hose in a couple of minutes...great product....mines probably banned them because sometimes people take short cuts and don't do things properly,if your sitting on the machine you will not do that.
I think you are on the right track, the main reason they were banned in mines was that they may not have been used correctly or in the right application, also reusables fittings do have a certain maximum pressure limit and over that limit you must use crimp on fittings. Modern mining equipment use much higher pressures and smaller components made of stronger materials to generate large forces. Reusables still have their place still but in mines many have chosen to use crimp on fittings.
Love your channel and how well everything is explained. I'm ordering a tandem 8cc gear pump from you guys to fit to my excavator, I will be sure to tag you when I get it and have it installed 👍
@@Hydraulic.Online Yes the pumps made a huge difference to the excavator as it has much more flow now. I am very happy with the Italian quality and the extremely fast and easy service you guys provided. Thanks again Chris
Can’t you put the hose on the vise and screw on the fitting? Rather than the way you show on the video. I’ve done AN fittings for automotive use by putting the hose on the vise..
You can put the hose in the vise but you need to make sure that you don't over-tighten the vice and damage the hose's external outer cover or distort / bend and stress the steel wire reinforcing.
What to do about plow hydraulic line connections to ram coming loose, leaking. Plow Is new. Is there a lock nut or jb weld option to keep fittings tight? Leak empties fluid res, making plow inoperable. Simple stuff, suggestions?
Johnny try checking the following, because it sounds like there may be a twist in the hose, or the hose is slightly twisting on connection, or the movement or articulation of the connections may be causing a twist, if there is any twist in the hose as it is pressurised it will try and straighten out cause it to loosen.
this is all nice but in Norway where most people ( I mean those who have power to come with restrictions) live in fear age is now illegal to use these type of screw fittings...
Interesting, In Australia they are not allowed to be used in mines any more. And in the US some designs especially for 100R5 hose used in the transport industry the maximum operating pressure must be reduced compared to crimp on fittings. The reason we made this video is to ensure that if the assembly guide lines are followed accurately the pressure rating will be the same as a crimp on fitting.
@@danielgolenia5181 all about to take away human freedom of fixing stuf by them self without special tooling. Have to buy hoses with redy pressed fitting by 500mm step or go to expencive hydraulic shops and pay at last 3 times as much for custom lenght

why when they are better, stronger and more reliable than the crimped fittings?
