I still love Molly Weasley's energy on every single one of these movies. Always extremely happy to see Harry and extremely mad at her kids at the same time. Such a great actress. I feel like people don't give her enough credit. She was so good.
Hey Normies, did you notice how in prisoner of Azkaban Snape placed himself in between Lupin, when he was in werewolf form, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione; while Umbridge hid behind Harry and Hermione.
Another great addition is the Luna Lovegood character. She quirky and weird but also fun and curious. Great balance and her actress play her perfect. She good for the balance of the group !
In the books the Weasly exit from School was even more epic! They made one of the halls a swamp Biome and nobody wanted to help Umbridge repair it, some of those Firecrackers were still active for days after, as well as dozens of annoying traps that had Umbridge and her Goonies running in circles to repair.
57:54 the reason Fudge didn't believe Voldemort was back despite the news coming from Dumbledore himself was BECAUSE it came from Dumbledore. Fudge thought Dumbledore wanted to take the Minister of Magic position from him, and that the news of Voldemort's return was fear-mongering to take control.
i love book dumbledore so much more. in books he not only says that hes not gonna go quiet but he literally states that even if he went to azkaban he could easily break out at any moment. i love cocky dumbledore cause he is so powerful that he has right to be cocky :D also i hate that they cut out the scene of umbrige trying to sack hagrid and failing but at the same time almost killing mcgonagal also the twins quitting the school was so much more fun in books
I like OoTP (Movie), but it also left SO MUCH out of the book. I know it's the longest, book, many cuts and changes are obviously going to happen, but I wish this one had gotten another 20-30 minutes.
@@BreakingJP I just responded to a similar comment. The movies are still great, but at the end of the day you have to cut out A LOT of material in order to fit that 2-3 hour runtime. HBO is making a series based off of the books, so everyone who was upset about all they cut out will rejoice knowing that we'll get to see a lot, if not all, of those things in the HBO HP show.
@@MFBloosh Cuts like these is what makes me so curious how the possible series would handle everything (the series is covering the same 7 years, right?)
Hello Normies. I just want to thank you guys for these HP daily uploads. I’m alone for the first time during the holidays, and these vids are honestly keeping me sane. I can’t stress that enough 🙏🏾
Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying. When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman. Also.... Cornelius Fudge, after seeing Voldemort: He's back.... Me, sarcastically: *Gee, if only someone said that the previous year and at the hearing. Oh, wait....*
The thing is "protego" is the protection spell, so when harry uses it against snape when snape probes him he technically succeeded in protecting himself........
Dumbledor didn't tell Harry because he didn't want Harry to have the knowledge, because he suspected Voldemort could see those memories and information, and know how involved he is with Harry. Obviously, it was still a bad choice, but Harry having the knowledge at all would ruin Dumbledors idea.
The reason dumbledore wouldn’t talk to Harry isn’t because he didn’t want Voldemort to see him. It’s because he suspected that Voldemort could access Harry’s thoughts and maybe even possess him and he didn’t want to risk Voldemort getting access to sensitive info or possessing harry
Its kinda wild that Pat wants a new villain every movie. "New villain of the week" is usually one of people's biggest gripes with movies/shows With Voldemort being the main bad guy we get to see him more and experience things like a character arc, character growth, etc. With a new villain every movie you rarely get a chance to really do anything with that villain since its just a one off bad guy.
An idea that is brought up again and again in the books is that "muggles don't see nothing now, do they?" Muggles routinely just don't see magic events happening.
The battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore is so much better in the books! It really shows just how powerful they both are, but also shows why Voldemort feared Dumbledore so much! it’s also stated in the last book that young Voldemort knew about Grindlewald, and hearing how Dumbledore defeated him also peaked his interests.
@@farfaraway4285 Agreed. But for me, this is the main one. We see the absolute best of Dumbledore! Yes he has the Elder wand, but no part of me believes Voldemort beats Dumbledore without it anyway

Love y’all. I started a channel cause of y’all a year ago and I just wanted to say thanks for being one of the best, if not BEST reaction channels on TH-cam! You all inspire and entertain us so much! Always a fan here. ❤
1. The paper they signed up for DA is charmed where they can’t tell outsiders about the group but they were still able to find out through loopholes. 2. Please watch the next two movies with extended edition scenes too. Makes a huge difference
The Weasley Twins are 17; fully-adult. They have one more year of school to finish, as seventh-years. Spidey's got the right idea; if you're leaving, go out as LEGENDS! The Twins are adults, so they aren't required to be in school; they can just quit. They wanted to make certain there was no way they could be pulled back into Hogwarts. And consider: they LITERALLY broke every rule established by Umbridge; they destroyed every one of the framed pronouncements. Harry won a good bit of money from the TriWizards Tournament, but he couldn't stand keeping it. He tried to give it to Cedric's father, but he wouldn't accept it. So Harry gave it to the Twins, as startup capital for their shop in Diagon Alley. Every character has a signature talent. For the Twins, it's business/capitalism. For Dumbledore, it's fire (which explains how he was 'adopted' by the phoenix). For Umbridge, it's suffocating control. _________________________________________________________________________________ The real issue for keeping Harry out of the loop was that Harry was too young to develop the ability to shield himself psychically from Voldemort. Dumbledore was waiting as long as possible before having Snape train him so that Harry could grasp how to set up his internal shield. It's a difficult concept to teach. Without Harry shielding himself, Voldemort has an open 'microphone' to everything Harry hears, sees, feels, and knows. Harry was a security risk. And no, writing out explanations doesn't hide anything from someone who can ride along in your head, see out your eyes, and access your thoughts.
To this day it's my favourite Harry Potter movie and book, and also one of my fave movies ever. I was so pissed when I heard people say "but it doesn't happen anything in this one". Harry creating Dumbledore's Army was iconic btw (in my language it was called Dumbledore's Order btw xd).
Dumbledore is another level in the books, he doesn’t just teleport away with Fawkes, he stuns all the aurors, Umbridge and fudge before going. Also in the ministry he stops the death eaters, animates the statues to attack Bellatrix and to send messages to the ministry. He fights Voldemort he never appears worried, definitely doesn’t fall over and dog walks Voldy whilst having a casual conversation with him. Admitting that he isn’t even fighting to kill. I wish they had showed how much of a badass he is more like in the books.
I know you've seen all the films at this point, but the reason why it's a good idea to have Harry as their teacher is because when he was in the tournament in the last movie he learned a lot of advanced spells in order to survive the tournament, spells that are above his typical age range. So he has a lot of practical experience performing the spells so he's a good practical teacher. ❤ It's a shame the girls didn't fill you guys in at the end of each films with facts and tidbits that were important but left out from the books.
Pat being upset about Voldemort being the villain of a film franchise is like somebody being upset that the original Star Wars trilogy was about Darth Vader.
I loved the point where they fly to London: only two of them can see the creatures - the others would see nothing, for them, Luna or Harry had to help them mount and then it would be as if they were just zooming through the air without anything.
Voldemort: makes his first actual appearance in the franchise after being brought back to full power in the last 5 minutes of last movie Pat: we need another villain I’m tired of seeing him Bruh
"Well I guess you should read the profit then like your stupid mother." "I'm sorry professor, I must not tell lies." Harry was on his A game in this movie lol
Well, books and movies follow a standard formula to an extend. This is not a criticism of any of those but an observation. If you look at any of them from writing persective, you can predict a lot. That's a case with a lot of media. Its not really a bad thing, but it is true.
Hi Normies! I just finished all 3 of your Harry Potter movie reactions. Fun fact: In the book, it was revealed that Umbridge was the one who sent the 2 dementors to silence Harry from spreading more "lies." Just another reason to hate her even more.😂
I died laughing when the boys were bullying Harry for being 'weak' for not committing murder & killing Bellatrix only for voldemort to come in 2 seconds later with "SO WEAK" 😂 I feel like these boys are being deliberately obtuse because they find certain elements of the story unsatisfactory. But if you let yourself submerge, you'd feel the story deeper and enjoy it more.
58:57 this is for movie scene due to time constraint and number of characters to remove from the limelight. Cho Chang didn't rat the DA's it was her friend that told Umbridge and the paper that every one signed, was hax by Hermione so whoever rat will have pimples or wards across their face written "Snitch" and Cho's friend, Ann had it the whole year, fear that it would get worsen, she stay quiet and leads to Umbridge use all of Snape's potions. But the DA already prepared. When they were called into her office one by one, the tea that were served by Unbridge with the potion to the kids were spitted back out into her pot plant when she were not looking. So nobody snitch and the potion was wasted just like that until there's nothing left and then the scene continue with what we get with Umbridge ask Snape for more. It's not like JK didn't think of the loopholes, it's just that 1 book can't fit the whole movie so the writers need to modify it to by discarding or merging scenes to tell the story within 2 hours. 1:03:00 Snape life is rough not just at school but also at home (I won't go into it) he stuck in Slitherin, a house full of pure blood rich bas***d an he is a quiet smart kid bullied by the school jocks like James and Sirius. Peter and Remus too would be on the same category but Peter was sharp, he knows to stick with the cool kids and we will be untouchable. The Potter's and the Black's are old and powerful family. And then there's Remus Lupin... Well, he's a Werewolf. The boys were definitely not gonna let him go. The 4 of them together make up the "Marauders" and yes, the Marauders Map was their creation that lands in the hands of the Janitor then the Twins then to Harry. It was at some point was in fake Moody's hand and that's how Barty Jr. killed Barty Sr. last movie. And back to Snape, he have no such friends and he had to mingle and fit in with those Death Eaters to be and still didn't quite fit in since he got reprimanded by his childhood and only friend who's is in Griffindor and if he were to mingle with the Slitherins, that only friend will leave him. So Snape were in-between a rock and a hard place. And since he's alone most of the time, he's the target of bullying. 1:04:14 Sure Voldie is in every movie but one (the 3rd). But he is like the last boss that we know building up in the background. The beginning Harry have to face is a literal face. Then a Snake. A Rat. An Among Us. And now an annoying Chihuahua...
@-zerxvil-5208 There was no truth serum to find out about the DA in the books. Cho's friend decided to snitch after Christmas and when she said a little bit of the info, the pimples showed up and she stopped talking. Umbridge was only capable of going on a little bit of info and so didn't know WHO she/they would find. The serum only came up after Dumbledore left and Umbridge assumed Harry would know so... enter the serum - this is when Harry would pretend. Turns out, though, Snape - knowing what she was gonna do - didn't even give her the truth serum.
The timing of that "Something went wrong" error. Still laughing over here And this is definitely my favorite of the movies. Umbridge is such a hateable villain.
Pat on: Lord of the Rings: 3 movies and we still dealing with Sauron? Star Wars: It's Empire Strikes back and we still fighting Darth Vader? The Avengers (2012): Loki still around? The War of 1812: Britain still trying to take over America? Can we get something new?

Miss figg in the books used to babysit Harry before he went to hog warts And in the books they did not go through London as they would’ve been seen For some reason the movie left out that Ron and hermione were chosen to be prefects
What a lot of people don’t realize is that if Tom Riddle/Voldemort had succeeded in ‘The Chamber of Secrets’ and regained his corporeal body, we would have had to deal with TWO Voldemorts. The sixteen year old version and the disembodied one from ‘Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone’.
48:36 he still blew back into the veil in the round rotating chamber of mysteries that studied aspect like death love and they were in the room of death where they were studying the literal veil between life and death.
Dolores means "pains" in Spanish lmao, and "to take umbrage" at something is to be offended or upset by something, which is what her surname is playing off of
Correct me if I am wrong but in the book it was Cho’s friend who snitched. They were angry at Cho because Cho was trying to justify her friend’s actions. I am not sure if Truth Serum was used, but Dolores definitely requested it from Snape.
Pat kinda got his request since Fudge and Umbridge are just as big villains in this one as Voldemort. I like that Voldemort even realizes it’s in his best interest to let those two bungle the government to give him time to prepare for open war later.

I like all the characters but Snape’s character has a lot of depth and he couldn’t wait to go to hogwarts and then right away getting bullied. I can understand Snape’s why.
And Snape didn't have a wand then, old toadface had a wand and still hid behind kids.
I noticed it this time around… but ooh GREAT Observation!!😊
Fudge thought Dumbledore wanted to take the Minister of Magic position from him, and that the news of Voldemort's return was fear-mongering to take control.
i love book dumbledore so much more. in books he not only says that hes not gonna go quiet but he literally states that even if he went to azkaban he could easily break out at any moment. i love cocky dumbledore cause he is so powerful that he has right to be cocky :D
also i hate that they cut out the scene of umbrige trying to sack hagrid and failing but at the same time almost killing mcgonagal
also the twins quitting the school was so much more fun in books
Yo Luna's the shit. She's a delicious strawberry cream cheese on a toasted poppy seed bagel.
this is a dream come true, usually reactors wait a week or more in between the movies but im so glad yall are posting them all back to back
Damn! Spidey is just on it with the predictions!
Unbridge was not let go, it took Dumbledore going into the dark forest and get her back
Its kinda wild that Pat wants a new villain every movie. "New villain of the week" is usually one of people's biggest gripes with movies/shows
With Voldemort being the main bad guy we get to see him more and experience things like a character arc, character growth, etc.
A lot of battle scenes are better in books, Rowling writes great action scenes.
@@farfaraway4285 Agreed.
But for me, this is the main one.
We see the absolute best of Dumbledore!
Yes he has the Elder wand, but no part of me believes Voldemort beats Dumbledore without it anyway
@@farfaraway4285it’s interesting too cos action sequences are actually some of JKs weakest areas in terms of writing, but when she does it right…oh boy it’s good
@@davidfairweather3301 Leaving Privet drive in the last book was also fire
Rewatching all these movies many years later makes me realize this is probably my favorite out of them all. So many amazing characters and moments. Really happy y'all dove into the Harry Potter movies :D
Love y’all. I started a channel cause of y’all a year ago and I just wanted to say thanks for being one of the best, if not BEST reaction channels on TH-cam! You all inspire and entertain us so much! Always a fan here. ❤
Congrats and good luck on your new page! and thank you for your kind words

1. The paper they signed up for DA is charmed where they can’t tell outsiders about the group but they were still able to find out through loopholes. 2. Please watch the next two movies with extended edition scenes too. Makes a huge difference
Gary Oldman, bruh.
Living legend.

The real issue for keeping Harry out of the loop was that Harry was too young to develop the ability to shield himself psychically from Voldemort.
The twins are not 18 here, they are 17. 17 is considered an adult in the Wizarding world
I know you've seen all the films at this point, but the reason why it's a good idea to have Harry as their teacher is because when he was in the tournament in the last movie he learned a lot of advanced spells in order to survive the tournament, spells that are above his typical age range.
So he has a lot of practical experience performing the spells so he's a good practical teacher. ❤
It's a shame the girls didn't fill you guys in at the end of each films with facts and tidbits that were important but left out from the books.
Pat being upset about Voldemort being the villain of a film franchise is like somebody being upset that the original Star Wars trilogy was about Darth Vader.
31:20 "Sirius has dead dude energy"
The girls who have seen the movie:
what? 👀
I love how in Pat’s world, talking badly about someone warrants the death penalty, lol!
I loved the point where they fly to London: only two of them can see the creatures - the others would see nothing, for them, Luna or Harry had to help them mount and then it would be as if they were just zooming through the air without anything.
Rana using the wand to tie up her hair is GOLD
49:33 The magic so strong, it had influence in real life
Voldemort: makes his first actual appearance in the franchise after being brought back to full power in the last 5 minutes of last movie
Pat: we need another villain I’m tired of seeing him
Bruh
rana commentating like she aint seen this moovie 500 times already is killing me 🤣🤣
"he's in the menu?"
"he's also in the kingsman?"
" HE'S IN DOLITTE?!"
gotta love pat man
How ministry reacted to Voldemort being back is how the US reacted to Covid 🤣🤣🤣
Facts!!!😂😂😂😂😂
"Well I guess you should read the profit then like your stupid mother." "I'm sorry professor, I must not tell lies." Harry was on his A game in this movie lol
Are we sure that dude with dreads didn't see Harry Potter before? My man literally predicts every major detail in the movies since first one!!!
Well, books and movies follow a standard formula to an extend. This is not a criticism of any of those but an observation. If you look at any of them from writing persective, you can predict a lot. That's a case with a lot of media. Its not really a bad thing, but it is true.
Appreciate you guys dropping these daily.
Excited to see how Pat feels about Malfoy next movie
So PERFECTLY timed, just finished binging the other 3 potter reactions
Hi Normies! I just finished all 3 of your Harry Potter movie reactions.
Fun fact: In the book, it was revealed that Umbridge was the one who sent the 2 dementors to silence Harry from spreading more "lies."
Just another reason to hate her even more.😂
I died laughing when the boys were bullying Harry for being 'weak' for not committing murder & killing Bellatrix only for voldemort to come in 2 seconds later with "SO WEAK" 😂 I feel like these boys are being deliberately obtuse because they find certain elements of the story unsatisfactory. But if you let yourself submerge, you'd feel the story deeper and enjoy it more.
Lmao😂
like, i was quite mad at their rxtn to, like shut up! ....lol, sounding like voldermort.
15:15 Spidey just gave the single best description of this character omfg
Just as a side note, Rana. Ralph Fiennes plays Voldemort. The person you were thinking of who was "beautiful" is his brother Joseph.
The pen Harry is writing with in detention uses the writer's own blood as ink.
Not exactly
@@KC_ESQit does.
It's been theorized that somehow Voldemort used the Imperious curse on half of the ministry
17. 17 is the adult age of wizards.
The timing of that "Something went wrong" error. Still laughing over here
And this is definitely my favorite of the movies. Umbridge is such a hateable villain.
Dumbledore vs Voldemort was too much to handle even for the tv😂
In the book it's Dumbledore who talks to the centaurs at the end and they let Umbridge go.
The thing that Sirus fell into is the veil between the living, and the dead.
Pat on:
Lord of the Rings: 3 movies and we still dealing with Sauron?
Star Wars: It's Empire Strikes back and we still fighting Darth Vader?
The Avengers (2012): Loki still around?
The War of 1812: Britain still trying to take over America? Can we get something new?
So true😂
I “laughed hysterically” when the connection went down in the part of dumbledore and voldemort’s duel 😂😂😂
43:54 centaurs “carry off” human women. It’s a brutal ending for Delores.
Okay, this Normies series is becoming the highlight of my Christmas Week 2023!!! LOL!!!! THANKS for this!!! Can't believe I gotta now wait another 24 hours for Half-Blood Prince!!!! :)
Seeing luna hurt kills me man. Shes such an innocent soul, it hurts me seeing her bleeding. I wanna protect that lovely human
14:45 it's funny Spidey and Pat identified right away Dolores Umbridge is a trash person. Spidey saying she would vote to have slavery back is one of the best descriptions of her I've seen from a reactor.
That was legit one of the best one-line character analysis I have heard on TH-cam in years.
@Arctic_Stark Not gonna lie. In my YEARS as a casual viewer of the normies I've never laid eyes on this man before Harry Potter. But Spidey is killing it this series and I can't wait to look up more things with him in it after this!!!
@@ManicSchizophrenic Spidey is my favorite addition to a reaction couch since The Blindwave added Rick to their rotation.
There's times where I had to pause in various reactions because Spidey's commentary was simultaneously hilarious and on point.
Miss figg in the books used to babysit Harry before he went to hog warts
And in the books they did not go through London as they would’ve been seen
For some reason the movie left out that Ron and hermione were chosen to be prefects
Lmao Voldemort broke the streaming service 😂
51:24 the collective couch hands all at the same time had me weak
Their reactions at 49:33 lmaooooooooo🤣
What a lot of people don’t realize is that if Tom Riddle/Voldemort had succeeded in ‘The Chamber of Secrets’ and regained his corporeal body, we would have had to deal with TWO Voldemorts. The sixteen year old version and the disembodied one from ‘Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone’.
This is my fav Harry Potter Movie, it introduces one of my fav characters. Luna Lovegood
48:36 he still blew back into the veil in the round rotating chamber of mysteries that studied aspect like death love and they were in the room of death where they were studying the literal veil between life and death.
49:36 I'm surprised Rana didn't break that elder wand right then and there😂😂.
SOMETHING WENT WRONG lol
Most of these are really good, but this is definitely my favourite. Umbridge and Luna are such great additions.
49:35 reminds me exactly of that moment in my hero academia season 2 when micky drops the remote and stops the show at the most hype moment.
The story behind how the actress playing luna got cast is really cool
Dolores means "pains" in Spanish lmao, and "to take umbrage" at something is to be offended or upset by something, which is what her surname is playing off of
"Umbra" is also Latin for shade or shadow. It's where "Umbrella" gets its name.
"Broke Keira Knightley" lol. Spidey has the best thoughts
A Snakeskin tie would have been amazing and a memorable touch to Voldemort’s design.
The director based Dolores on books but also on his teacher when he was a young boy.
The Half-Blood Prince is Malfoy's film in my opinion. Tom Felton's performance is still the best young actor performance in the series.
Correct me if I am wrong but in the book it was Cho’s friend who snitched. They were angry at Cho because Cho was trying to justify her friend’s actions. I am not sure if Truth Serum was used, but Dolores definitely requested it from Snape.
Yes it is
She didn’t use it on Cho’s friend. She used it on Harry and Snape said she used his entire stock on Harry (Harry didn’t drink it lol)
I am talking about in the books.@@sarahjackson2889
This was such a crazy movie. From the frustration of Umbridge to the death of a friend. Not to mention the fight between Dumbledore and Voldy
The duel battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore is so epic! I remember my mouth was wide open when I watching this at the movies.
1:05:23 part of owls was wordless and even higher handless magic which combined both
I enjoyed watching this Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix movie in theaters when I was a teenager
Pat kinda got his request since Fudge and Umbridge are just as big villains in this one as Voldemort. I like that Voldemort even realizes it’s in his best interest to let those two bungle the government to give him time to prepare for open war later.
Gotta love when Pat says, “We need another villain.” You got it in this movie!
Man that error message came on I thought that was my computer until you all screamed LOL
I have seen the Harry Potter series a 100 times (and will watch a more 100 times) , the scene where Sirius just vanishes always makes me cry, even now watching your reaction my eyes did fill with tears. Harry had already lost everything and the one person he had close to his family also gone just like that.
