Kreacher listened to Harry because he was left number 10 Grimmauld Place, the headquarters of the Order and Sirius' home in Sirius' will. That means he inherited the house elf as well
One of the absolute best parts of this series is that we get some of the most elite British actors of the last 50 years showing up for various roles. Bill Nighy just casually dropping by for a couple of scenes is incredible.

Heck. In the UK age of consent is 16 (applies to marriage and work, too) and age of criminal responsibility is 10. So the wizard world even holds people back a year.

People also fail to realise that Ron had severe blood loss, had been wearing the locket far too much, and was on the verge of starvation whilst being injured as well. The movies did him so dirty
The writer of the movie had some kinda hate boner Ron. The sheer amount of lines and stuff that are taken from Ron and given, usually, to Hermione is unreal. Don't think he understood that all he did was make Hermione worse in the movies.
It's so weird because I never hated Ron 😅I never read the books but I always liked Ron as a character and was able to put together hints and clues about him and his struggles and motivations.
There's a reason Voldemort always looks weird when holding his wand. The actor who played Voldemort had read the books, and he wanted the wand to feel like an extension of his hand. Remember horcruxes are technically magical living things they have part of a soul so it’s unwise to just have it in a bag or your pocket cause one minutes it can be there and the next it’s gone best to have it on your person even though it affects the person wearing it
52:23: That’s very true but some of us also like characters faster than others. We all like people and grow differently. One good example is Ahsoka. Most people hated Ahsoka when she first appeared. I loved her so much from the beginning.
@@VVoude He's talking about Ahsoka's character, not the show. Some people hated her in the Clone Wars film when she was first introduced, and many still disliked her when the Clone Wars series started. But she later became a beloved character by many.
In the book, Pettigrew was about to kill Harry in the Malfoy Manor but then hesitated. Then the silver hand that Voldemort created for Pettigrew sensed the betrayal to Voldemort and the hand made Pettigrew strangle himself.
Harry dancing with Hermione, to make her feel better, to have one moment of genuine joy in this terrible time... Quite possibly my favorite scene in all of Harry Potter. Excellent Nick Cave song, too
An anachronistic song, though. The graves of James & Lily shown in the movie reveal that the movies are also set in the late 1990s, just like the book.
This scene would be even more meaningful if they had included Ron and Hermione dancing and having fun together at Bil and Fluer's wedding, something that happens in the books. People would better understand the emptiness Hermione was feeling at the moment and what Harry tried to do by dancing with her.
I think in the books Hermione does take the books about Horcruxes from the school. Dumbledor had kept them in his office. I think she reveals that she put the books in her special bag after the funeral, using magic. And they learn about how to destroy them from the books (basalisk venom or fiend fire). And I think Bill works for Gringots and after school Fleur went to work for the bank as well, so they met that way.
*The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They're coming.* That line is so horrific, chilling. In the book where it just ends the chapter and in the movie tho.
Harry inherited Grimwold Place from Black. That includes the house elf. Harry was his master. It wasn't safe to free him because he knew too many secrets about the Order.
Fleur Delacour got a thing for Bill Weasley in the fourth book. He came with Mrs Weasley as family to support Harry and she saw him. Then in book 5 they start dating and book 6 they get engaged.
When I got my book at midnight on July 21, 2007, I started reading. About 30 minutes later, I went “NO” when we lost Hedwig. And then again when we lost Mad-Eye. Goblet of Fire was my entry into the franchise so Mad-Eye was important to me, and it absolutely blew to lose my favorite character.
The ressurection stone has been passed down in the Gaunt family (salazer slytherin's family) includes Voldemort's mother. The invisibility cloak has been passed down in the Potter family. The 2nd brother is the progenitor of the Gaunt family & the 3rd brother is the progenitor of the Potter family.
11:33 The actors who play Bill Weasley(Domhnall Gleeson) and Mad-Eye Moody(Brendan Gleeson) are father and son, so Bill delivering the sad news about Mad-Eye's death is both ironic and fitting. 15:24 Funnily enough, the fifth book in the series is 766 pages long.
Rana talking about people needing to let the guys figure stuff out on their own when her and Navi have been telling them the wrong information throughout the whole series feels extremely hypocritical lol
Fleur met Bill during the Tri-wizard Tournament in the Goblet of Fire book. Family came to watch during the last event and in the books that was Molly and Bill who came to Hogwarts for that.
34:46: Yeah the expression Nearly Headless Nick used for those ghosts who stay behind in the human world is that they didn’t go on. Harry’s parents and Sirius “went on.” Nick said he was too afraid of death to go on.
They started up with that close-up shot because what a way to introduce the actor who has been in the background of damn near every sci-fi franchise out there. He was in Hitchhiker's Guide, he was one of Lord Vader's caretakers on Mustafar, I'm pretty sure he watched General Zod get sent into the Phantom Zone on a dicksicle, etc.
I still feel like Radcliffe was such a good sport to agree to 120 something takes where he's undressing and dressing again, including in a bra. And he talked to each actor about how they dress/undress to get it right. And he seemed to have a good attitude in the behind the scenes That would have been an absolute Nope from me
its in the book but umbridge was saved by dumbledor from the centaurs and she was fired afterwards, after voldy took over the ministry she got her job back
Yep. Her mother Andromeda, married Ted Tonks, a muggle born wizard. And she was disowned for being a “blood traitor” On the 5th movie the camera lingers on Andromeda’s face burnt out of the Black Family tree near Sirius’ spot… but I guess they didn’t want to waste time with him giving that exposition to Harry. In the book, Sirius does explain how he’s related to both the Malfoys AND the Weaselys.
Fleur saw Bill at the Tri-wizard Tourney in the book, not the movie, during a time when family members were permitted to see the chosen champions. The Weasley's showed up for Harry since he has no one else, and Bill happened to be there too. The second time they met was when Fleur took a part time job at Gringotts where Bill was working as a Curse-breaker and from there started dating the more they saw each other.
bill and fleur met because bill came along with mr and mrs weasley to support harry as family (since he doesnt have any), during the family meeting for the champions in the goblet of fire triwizard tournament. there may also have been some international cooperation finance thing later on since bill works for the bank, i honestly don't remember.
19:36 Y’all losing your minds because Umbridge is still alive it’s just so on point 😂😂 Even Voldemort himself doesn’t piss off the fandom like that pink toad
About the house elves, they were a bigger part of the story in the books. Hermione even fought for their rights and started a protest party, forgot the name. Dobby, among other elves, was a more elaborated character, hence book fans got to know him better and is a favorite of many. His death had more emotional impact while reading.
The thing with Voldermorts name being a trigger for a raiding party on your location might be useful the first few times but you'd think that people fighting Voldermort would learn to use that to their advantage, setting up preplaced ambushes and just killing whoever turned up. Voldermort himself might be a problem but you cant really rule from horseback if you have no troops.
Technically she taught at his school but I doubt the lady in the beginning was ever one of Malfoys teachers as I'm pretty sure she is the teacher of the one muggle appreciation class Hermione took in Prisoner of Azkaban
About Dumbledore’s death, I was in the beginning of my pregnancy when the book came out. Had it preordered, picked it up around 7am because Barnes and Nobles opened early just for the release. I read it in one day and when it got to that part I could not believe it. By the end of the book I just chucked it across the room and left it on the floor for two weeks. I was already pissed about Sirius, him being my favorite character. I didn’t even want to read the final book.
They dont explain in the movies (but they do in the books) that the word "Voldemort" is like gps in a sense. When you say it out loud, the death eaters know where you are. So he said it purposely to alert the death eaters that Harry was there.
“You’re lying Delores, and one mustn’t tell lies.”
That was the coldest line when I was a kid.

And people still dislike it. And will. Because it was MEH.
@@VVoude He's talking about Ahsoka's character, not the show. Some people hated her in the Clone Wars film when she was first introduced, and many still disliked her when the Clone Wars series started. But she later became a beloved character by many.
37:06 man didn’t even flinch 😂 I knew it was coming and still jumped a bit, Spidey stone cold face was just… 🤌🏼 fantastic
Classic franchise! Can't wait for the final reaction!
Excellent Nick Cave song, too
Also an added scene.
Kind of uncomfortable to me. Didn't like it at all.
@@ronnopotterwomp womp. You a weirdo then.
Man, this brings back memories of when I worked on this movie. Always glad to see ppl still enjoying it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :)
Thank you for releasing these one after the other, has been so good not having to wait inbetween films 👍
Rhys Ifans, the actor that plays Luna’s dad is actually the same actor that plays Otto Hightower in House of the Dragon!
He will always be Hugh Grant’s pantless roommate in Notting Hill to me. 😂
@@sarahroberts5188omg yeah!!😂😂😂
Seeing this in cinema was a thrill ride guys. Glad y'all enjoying it as well.
They're coming.*
That line is so horrific, chilling. In the book where it just ends the chapter and in the movie tho.
Best new spell ever!!! “Ice-ist Thick-ist!!!!!!” 😂😂
Hahaha 😂
The events of HP took place in the 90s. Imaging how the wizarding world would be in 20s
Im surprised Spidey and Pat even remember how to get home 😅
Harry inherited Grimwold Place from Black. That includes the house elf. Harry was his master. It wasn't safe to free him because he knew too many secrets about the Order.
Grindlewald was in a different Wizarding prison in Europe, Nurmengard Castle, not Azkaban.
The very few times I agree with Pat cuz Harry Potter is a Christmas binge
Fleur Delacour got a thing for Bill Weasley in the fourth book. He came with Mrs Weasley as family to support Harry and she saw him. Then in book 5 they start dating and book 6 they get engaged.
Yall have blown thru the series faster than any other youtube channel
Pretty sure these are pre-recorded, a few months ago, and being released now.
6:42 The Legendary Animagus Doge!?!? He wrote Dumbledore's obituary? What a great honor for Albus!
The actor who plays Bill Weasley is Domhnall Gleeson who’s father is actually the actor who plays Mad eye moody Brendan Gleeson
Fletcher HAS ALWAYS KNOWN WHERE SIRIUS LIVES. He is a member of the ORDER
53:12: Most people had no idea about the hallows. That or they believed it was only a kid’s story
3:42: She doesn’t want voldermort going to them to question them about her whereabouts
This !!!!!!!!! Lol
they are trying to preserve the tension from the surprises by doing that
Yeah i was like "but you are doing this since the first movie" lol
The man Harry was disguised as when he went into the ministry of magic - that actor played Fitz’s father in Agents of SHIELD.
Otto Hightower's actor for HotD, Rhys Ifans, also plays Luna Lovegood's dad.
HOW DOES THIS DUDE SPIDY JUST GET EVERYTHING RIGHT? I mean I get that’s it’s easier to pick up on stuff as adults but GAH DAMN DUDE
Fleur met Bill during the Tri-wizard Tournament in the Goblet of Fire book. Family came to watch during the last event and in the books that was Molly and Bill who came to Hogwarts for that.
i appreciate that intro about no longer having that older figure that can come save the day. That's exactly how it felt when i read the books.
The upload schedule on the Harry Potter reactions continues to amaze me
Okay, y'all got me setting my phone alarm!!! THANKS for this!!!!
28:08 Memory of a goldfish shared amongst 4 people. Earlier in the movie: The ear was destroyed by a powerful curse. Curses can't just be healed.
34:46: Yeah the expression Nearly Headless Nick used for those ghosts who stay behind in the human world is that they didn’t go on. Harry’s parents and Sirius “went on.”
Nick said he was too afraid of death to go on.
Why did pat smile when hedwig died true slythern moment
They started up with that close-up shot because what a way to introduce the actor who has been in the background of damn near every sci-fi franchise out there. He was in Hitchhiker's Guide, he was one of Lord Vader's caretakers on Mustafar, I'm pretty sure he watched General Zod get sent into the Phantom Zone on a dicksicle, etc.
I still feel like Radcliffe was such a good sport to agree to 120 something takes where he's undressing and dressing again, including in a bra. And he talked to each actor about how they dress/undress to get it right. And he seemed to have a good attitude in the behind the scenes
That would have been an absolute Nope from me
Voldemort really air-tagged his name so his followers can track who says it 😂
Rana your explosive giddy reaction to “R.A.B” is the epitome of Harry Potter Fandom. Love it.
its in the book but umbridge was saved by dumbledor from the centaurs and she was fired afterwards, after voldy took over the ministry she got her job back
The wig was a great touch 👌
Y'all are on it with the "Why? We have magic!" 😂 But seriously - so glad y'all liked this one. I think it's seriously underrated.
Bill deals with Goblins primarily as a curse-breaker at Gringotts Bank.
The way pat is always completely wrong every time he opens his mouth
So close to the end😢
Did yal know Tonks aka Nymphadora Narcissa Malfoys mom and Bellatrix are all sisters and Sirius family? 😮
Yep. Her mother Andromeda, married Ted Tonks, a muggle born wizard. And she was disowned for being a “blood traitor”
On the 5th movie the camera lingers on Andromeda’s face burnt out of the Black Family tree near Sirius’ spot… but I guess they didn’t want to waste time with him giving that exposition to Harry. In the book, Sirius does explain how he’s related to both the Malfoys AND the Weaselys.
All 3 sisters are cousins to Sirius (and younger bro Regulus). That’s why it’s so messed up Bellatrix murdered Sirius.
And Now Harry has the ELDER WAND (but he wont know until the last act of part 2 lol)
Fun fact, “bathilda backshot is actually a twitter handle. I haven’t been on there in a while but I remember them being quite hilarious
Love how Rana keeps forgetting her Gryffindor Sword
Your wig is the funniest thumbnail of this channel so far.
bill and fleur met because bill came along with mr and mrs weasley to support harry as family (since he doesnt have any), during the family meeting for the champions in the goblet of fire triwizard tournament. there may also have been some international cooperation finance thing later on since bill works for the bank, i honestly don't remember.
Harry is a descendant of the pevrels so the cloak was passed from father to son.
