What is flawless compared to that. that looks great! I'm getting me a 65 impala. And I'm painting it the same color. I would love for my to turn out just like yours. Great job homie!
Awesome job! I think you made the right choice by doing it yourself. I agree with what you said about if someone else did the work would it be as good of a job or even worse most cases I have had in letting others do work is I could have done better that's why i try to do everything i can myself if it's not how i like it i only have myself to blame
Looks so good. You did a great job. I am looking for ideas on if I am able to do my 64 by myself and save some money that I dont have. I knew right where to go to look first
@@lt.frankdrebin3317 I’ve also got a 58 Impala (4-door) and wanted to recover the seats and door panels for cheap. Did you get any progress or have any tips?
You are an amazing builder Bro..One of the best I've Ever seen in all my years of lowriding...Im in Socal and WISH you could build a car for me cuz everyone out here succs. I've seen the progression from your Red 64 I saw to this and Hats off to you My G.
i have the same ciadelas interior in red, powder coated my seat frames and have a power seat kit as well, ill be doing mine soon i got the dewalt pliers that feed the hog rings so ill see how that works out
Looks great Thanks for sharing. You got to do all you can yourself now days. The price of all this stuff is so high and seems to go higher all the time. I am redoing my 37 buick and doing all i can myself to save $$$. Gracias for all you do to help us out.
Looks good I've got a 64 impala and got a price of 1200 to install the materials if I buy the material so this helps me Deside if I want to atemp this myself
Seats look great for sure, nice color. A nice hot day would be the ticket to be able to make them conform better. Women are way better at cutting and making things fit and look good. I Mrs. Lonestar learns to weld she might be able to replace Bobby 🙂 Don't tell Bobby that..........
yeah i think so too. its just kind of one of those things that if you never done it, u dont know how its going to look until its done...and then is it worth taking off the cover and redoing...maybe..??
Just wondering if you will ever show how you did your work. TH-cam is the best help for DYI people - you do amazing work but you always pause your videos so we don’t get to see how you did your work. You just come back saying it’s all done. Help some of us low budget builders out here on TH-cam. 😊. Thanks and keep up with the great content.
thanks. i do the best i can. if i explained every part of the process i wouldnt get any work done...recording videos really slows down the progress. but i try. thanks
I'm glad to see your hands on every aspect of your project. You will have earned your future trophies and awards and have not had to buy them.
Thanks. Just what I needed. BTW, green on green is my favorite color combo for the ‘59-‘60 impalas.👍
Yessir thank you
Man that green is awesome!

thats funny Ed. Of course ,when i need 100 degree weather, its no where to be found. staying in the 60s here lately. and gloomy no sunshine.
We have had a couple of nights in the teens...........
What color green is the car?? Beautiful!!!!!
Thanks it is 1960 gm cascade green
Nice😊
Nice work LS you knocking it out bit by bit 🦾💯
On the bottom seat where u used card board in corners, if u would had left the burlap ,that would had supported the skirt….. but u did a good job…..

Good stuff now we have a better idea of how to video.
How thick is the foam pad that you used? And where did you order from? Looks great 👍🏽
Hobby Lobby and I think it was 2 inches thick.
Do you know the exact name of Tyvek material you put on top of the foam? I can’t seem to find it at Hobby Lobby.
Burlap
Where did you order the seat covers from?
Hello, I need the cardboard backing for a 65 front bench seat. Where can I find this and what words can I use to search online? Thanks

You didn't mention the price on the seat covers. I know they are expensive. Looks good, a dollar saved on labor can spent on something else.
The price of the covers varies depending on the insert material used, and colors used. This is a stock 1960 kit.
How did you invest on this?
What?
Nice work, thanks for taking the time to share it. Like a pro, just needed to hold the hog rings in your mouth. Lol👍
