- Welcome back to the channel. In this video I attempt to rebuild/recover my seats for my 1960 impala convertible. I purchased the interior kit from ciadella interiors and highly recommend them. The quality of the interior is is top of the line. This was my first attempt at something like this. So lets learn together, and get it done!! Thanks for watching!

Thanks. Just what I needed. BTW, green on green is my favorite color combo for the ‘59-‘60 impalas.👍
Yessir thank you
I'm glad to see your hands on every aspect of your project. You will have earned your future trophies and awards and have not had to buy them.
You've inspired me to install my '58 Impala's seat covers. Nice work! Beautiful car. Love the flags too. 🤘
its really not that hard. as long as you are happy with the end results than who cares. thanks for watching!
Awesome job! I think you made the right choice by doing it yourself. I agree with what you said about if someone else did the work would it be as good of a job or even worse most cases I have had in letting others do work is I could have done better that's why i try to do everything i can myself if it's not how i like it i only have myself to blame
yessir. i agree
Looks great!!!
Thank you. The car is much further along since this video!
Looks so good. You did a great job. I am looking for ideas on if I am able to do my 64 by myself and save some money that I dont have. I knew right where to go to look first
this really helped out with my upholstery learned alot thanks
Looks killer man im gonna pull the trigger and do mine myself as well. Thanks for the inspiration and great videos!
Looks great Thanks for sharing. You got to do all you can yourself now days. The price of all this stuff is so high and seems to go higher all the time. I am redoing my 37 buick and doing all i can myself to save $$$. Gracias for all you do to help us out.
Thanks for watching, lots more to come

@@lonestarlows for sure
On the bottom seat where u used card board in corners, if u would had left the burlap ,that would had supported the skirt….. but u did a good job…..
yeah i think so too. its just kind of one of those things that if you never done it, u dont know how its going to look until its done...and then is it worth taking off the cover and redoing...maybe..??
Seats look great for sure, nice color.
A nice hot day would be the ticket to be able to make them conform better.
Women are way better at cutting and making things fit and look good.
I Mrs. Lonestar learns to weld she might be able to replace Bobby 🙂
Don't tell Bobby that..........
thats funny Ed. Of course ,when i need 100 degree weather, its no where to be found. staying in the 60s here lately. and gloomy no sunshine.
We have had a couple of nights in the teens...........
you did good 💪🏼 work
Thank you 😁
Perfect brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great informative video, guys
Nice work, every time you do this, it will get better and better. One more thing for your resume. Bahaha
💪🏾💪🏾💯🔥
Good stuff now we have a better idea of how to video.
How thick is the foam pad that you used? And where did you order from? Looks great 👍🏽
Hobby Lobby and I think it was 2 inches thick.
Where did you order the seat covers from?
Nice work, thanks for taking the time to share it. Like a pro, just needed to hold the hog rings in your mouth. Lol👍
ha
Just wondering if you will ever show how you did your work. TH-cam is the best help for DYI people - you do amazing work but you always pause your videos so we don’t get to see how you did your work. You just come back saying it’s all done. Help some of us low budget builders out here on TH-cam. 😊. Thanks and keep up with the great content.
I think about that as well. I think it would help the channel grow. That’s what we want to see.
thanks. i do the best i can. if i explained every part of the process i wouldnt get any work done...recording videos really slows down the progress. but i try. thanks
Hello, I need the cardboard backing for a 65 front bench seat. Where can I find this and what words can I use to search online? Thanks
@@CryptoLosOne make your own
You didn't mention the price on the seat covers. I know they are expensive. Looks good, a dollar saved on labor can spent on something else.
The price of the covers varies depending on the insert material used, and colors used. This is a stock 1960 kit.
Nice work LS you knocking it out bit by bit 🦾💯
