I did not. Q1 i guessed reavers & spider mines Q2 i guessed that it retains the parasite (same as how they keep the plague) Q3 I guess all of them, since they're spells not attacks ;)
Concerning the first one, I guessed reaver and carrier; about the secondo one, I guessed that Archon doesn't get the parasyte in any case (I thought of it as a new unit regardless of the templars' condition); for the third one, I guessed all the mentioned abilities deal damage (beiing abilities and not "ranged attacks").
Crazy that people still play this game after so many years. I played at a pretty high level... around A rank, but it's crazy that there's still new players coming in, in the foreign scene, after watching content like this. I tried to get into Stormgate but it's just not the same as Broodwar or SC2.
Could you share some of your perspectives on Stormgate, if you don't mind? You said it's not the same. Why does it fail to deliver in your opinion? I apologize in advance for being brazen, but it is pretty rare to have a chance at asking this kind of stuff to someone actually qualified to have a meaningful opinion. Have a good one.

They did a few good things like the top bar abilities and the races functioning very different, like broodwar. That doesn't make up for everything else.... like charging for early access. This is the best Starcraft: REmastered explanation channel ever, giving in-depth analysis in different game aspects! Thank you so much for your edition and devotion to this fantastic game! ^^
That was a really good video, technically correct and detailed with edge cases like splash damage from missed siege tank shots on burrowed lurkers below dark swarm.
This is top tier material, very nice vid! Earned a suscriber. I know just one fact that wasn't covered here about the Queen... A High Templar's hallucination of a Queen actually CAN infest a Command Center too!
Few things: 1) What do you define as a frame in SC1? I ask at fastest speed, Starcraft runs at approximately 24 frames per second (more like 23.8). Feels like more along tick damage. Somewhat Important I didn't see: BOTH units are "Medium" units. This is important because majority of units that attack Air deal explosive damage (which is 75% damage to queens). Other units such as Dragoons or Siege Tanks also only deal 75% damage to Defilers too. (I believe Queen is only medium air unit in the entire game). EDIT: Corsairs are also a medium air unit (their shields will still take 100% from everything). Other Stats: Queen has a Sight range of 10. Defiler has a Sight range of 10. It also takes up 2 out of the 8 available slots in a transport unit (such as Overlord). Other rare things: - Queen Infest Command Center is actually the Queen's Attack. This simulates auto-cast ability (only other unit is medic as far as I'm aware). This means if Queen is near an ENEMY command Center that is 50% or less health, it will auto-cast this ability onto it. (This is a "acquisition" range of 8) - Certain Queen abilities can apply to Structures, however aren't castable on them. You could Spawn Broodling Kill a Drone that transformed into a structure if the projectile was fired before hand. - Infested Terrans are pretty for a lot of reasons, but I would argue the delay in their attack is the largest issue. Infested Terrans will often lock onto a target. When it attempts to attack them, there will often be a minor delay and that delay can often be enough to kill the infested terran (In SC2, the baneling just instantly connects instead). - Defiler can only consume Zerg units (so can't consume a Marine of Zealot in MC instances). - Defiler consume can be casted on Zerg Eggs/Cacoons but doing so will NOT refund the minerals/gas you put into building/morphing the unit. However, you CANNOT consume a Zerg Larva (so no free consume energy there). Something not worth testing: Consuming a drone while it morphed into a structure (will it just cancel the consume, or will it kill the structure?).
Been playing this game since 1998 (mostly pro in custom matches against maximum 1 Computer enemy) and even I - imagine that - didn't know all of this. Well done. Also - the koreans screaming PLAAGGUUE at the end is worth its weight in.... red goo.
@@StarCraftExplained Too many ideas even. Like: - Terran / Protoss spellcasters - units tierlist - most played unit compositions and why they are popular - hardest unit counters - same unit in SC1 vs SC2 (like your Ghost video) - easiest units to use (for new players) I could try listing more, but I think that's enough for now. The challenge is picking which one first. I'd say pick whichever you'd like to make the most, that should result in the best video.
Fun fact: The units unaffected by Ensnare is, as far as I know, because of a bug - some mods for the game fix this bug, buffing Ensnare in the process by making it effective against more targets.
Drone actually disappears when you build an extractor (unlike other buildings). The one coming out when you cancel it is totally new one. That's why its debuff, kill count, hp is reset to perfect state.
@@StarCraftExplained yeah, it is a totally different and new drone. For every other buildings, drone keeps its hp and kill count because it is the same drone. So you can utilize this system by building extractor with your scout drone to regenerate all hp when it has low hp.
I'm so stupid. This entire time, I thought ensnare just slowed down the enemy. Never knew it slowed down attack speed by 20%. Honestly, in such fast paced action and with how little I used queens, I never paid attention.
You didn't mention the Defiler has a massive sight radius, that remains while burrowed, so it can do passive recon until it has enough energy, then harass.
8:20 Interceptors, because their attack speed is faster than their roll. But their roll gets slowed as well. Hmm.. Scourge, Scarab and Infested Terran I guess, since they attack only once anyway. I have a feeling that you didn't lie about anything this time. Hmm.. Good job. Rewatching this I gotta say that you are smart for knowing how stupidly fast interceptors shoot. You can't learn that while playing normal game.
I hate Defilers more than anything else, and I use Dark Archons to get rid of those bastards. Luckily, in a defended Terran base, a Defiler will easily be cut down by Siege Tanks before it could dump its toxicity.
